"This property is located right on the Potomac river in a private, wooded neighborhood. The house is gorgeous and overlooks the river and the ample deer population. Lots of beds and places for people to hang out. The host is very responsive and makes you feel right at home."

"The Canal House is a wonderful home! The house itself is meticulously kept with its history intact while offering a modern kitchen and air conditioning. The grounds are filled with beautiful flowers and a small garden pond. The location was perfect to enjoy biking on the C&O towpath, plus a short drive to Antietam battlefield, tubing, rafting and hiking."

"We stayed for two nights while introducing our kids to skiing at nearby Liberty resort. We were fortunate to get 6inches of beautiful snow while we were there, and enjoyed tremendously watching it blanket the trees around us Eileen was very helpful and ensured we had snow shovels and salt! Definitely will be back! "
