"Very clean home located in beautiful Adams County countryside. Perfect for three couples coming for Friendsgiving and Gettysburg events. A little trouble with the heat furnace but we figured it out. The property manager was responsive to our outreach. We would recommend the property and stay again. Thank you Tom and Kevin. "

"This location was a nice place to stay. Definitely quiet and off the beaten track. We generally stay closer in to Berkeley Springs, but decided this time to go further out of town. The place was very clean and the hot tub was very well maintained. The appliances, as expected, were dated but worked fine. "Beautiful house, wonderful kitchen and dining room. TVs everywhere. Game room. And of course the heated indoor pool. Spent Thanksgiving there. Saw deer outside each morning."

"The location was perfect. I was able to visit several of my family members all who were only 5-10 minutes away. The layout was perfect there was more than enough for everyone to be comfortable. My grandchildren only complaint was that there wasn't a pool on the property or a gas stove 😁. They said breakfast took long to get done. We will definitely be year around occupants. We all enjoyed our stay . "

Bender family home, 3 generations of canal boat captains and a Civil War veteran

"We explored Harper’s Ferry and Antietam Battlefield over a beautiful fall weekend. Neither of us are history buffs and didn’t pay much attention to it in school so we learned quite a bit at the National Parks. The home was a perfect theme and location for our weekend. It was interesting to see how the people of the time lived but with modern amenities. We are both tall ladies, (5’11”) so we had to watch our heads. Stairs are steep and tight. "

"This was our second visit to the cabin and we loved it! The back screened in porch is perfect for sitting and relaxing. The location is great if you are seeking relaxation, there are other cabins nearby but it was very quiet. The cabin was very clean when we arrived. We will be back!"

"This property had stunning views! While we were there for just a short weekend we had a blast. We brought our own fishing poles but we did see that the house was stocked with them. We watched the sunset from the hot tub most evenings. The house was clean and comfortable and just a short 15-20 minute drive to the town of Gettysburg. We drove 2-minutes over to Liberty Ski Resort for dinner and breakfast. I highly recommend this house!"

"We stayed here while in town for a wedding. We had 13 adults and one child. This is such a neat old house with so many cool features. We had a fun time exploring the house and admiring the unique features like the Jefferson doors to the porches, the old coal dump, and all the super cool antiques in the home.
