This cottage was exactly what the family needed just a wonderful place to take your family and relax. The privacy was great the cottage was beautiful inside and out and lake was gorgeous and host was excellent will most likely come back for another stay for sure!!!!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is quiet, the lake was beautiful, the furniture and the King bed were comfortable. The patio was so nice to sit and enjoy the lake. Hubby loved the hot tub although he struggled with the settings a bit. The amount of towels available was amazing. We hope to return!

The cottage was quite lovely and spacious, and right on the beach. We enjoyed lots of long walks on the beach, and Oscoda was nearby to grab dinner.

Privacy & Paradise
My wife and I stayed in this cottage with our dog. We were in town to celebrate our 20th Anniversary. Tim is a 5+ star host. The cleanliness of the cabin and surrounding area are impeccable. We spent our evenings on the deck enjoying the sounds of the waves crashing on the shoreline. We went to Rosa's Lookout Inn to celebrate our anniversary and they went above and beyond as well. We visited Sturgeon Point Lighthouse and Tawas Point Lighthouse. Both of which are within 15-20 mins of the cottage. The cottage had everything we could ask for when cooking. The cottage is tucked into the pines. The bird feeder was fun to watch with all the different birds coming & going. If you're looking at this cottage to rent, there's no question, this is the place for you.

Beautiful cottage, excellent view, private, peacful sound of the waves, the hot tub! Very dog friendly, meaning, toys, waste clean up items and the doormat, dogs loved the saty as much as we did! Very much enjoyed our second stay at Tim's place! Our second stay was different in that we actually left the house a couple times this visit! The house is so cozy in the winter that you really only want to leave to walk on the beach or grab a log for the fire. This time we enjoyed takeout from Red Fork (salad and a pizza-- quite good) and dinner at Huron Out Pub (Honky tonk night! Great meal and service in the bar.). Tim's place remains great and we'd love to visit again in the future.

If you are looking for a quiet place to enjoy a sandy beach that is within a stones throw of your sleeping quarters, this is the place. It may be a one bedroom but we had plenty of room for 2 adults, 2 teenagers, and an 8yr old.

Awesome Cottage on Sunrise Coast
Very nice cottage on a beautiful sandy beach. The beach is quite wide (like the pics) and water relatively shallow and warm enough for swimming (in June). All in the party had a good time and of course the doge loved playing in the water!
