"Overall solid satisfaction. This is a well appointed home, close to the slopes and 10 minutes to the village. The location is perfect for walks. Remember to bring your own wine or bottle openers, we searched high and lo but came up empty handed. Be advised that the jacuzzi is quite small, 2 adult can fit comfortably and the stars at night are are a real treat. One downside is having to load up the trash and drop it off at a location 10 minutes away, not a great way to end a luxury weekend, this should really be included in the cleanup fee, however, we would not hesitate to return to this well looked after property!"

"The house has ample room for a large number of guests but the quality of the beds and furniture is well below average and could use some serious updating. The futon in the living room was entirely broken and would have been a danger to anyone who would have sat on it. All but one of the mattresses are very springy and cheap. The listing states that they only provide “starter” items such as a single roll of toilet paper per bathroom, which we understood when we booked it but it’s highly unusual to expect guests to bring their own toilet paper for a long weekend. We were also expected to take the trash to a dumpster, which we were aware of when we booked, but did not realize until check-out that this dumpster was located 15 minutes away, making that more than a half hour round trip to take out some trash. This is a wild request for a guest to carry out, considering that the dumpster wasn’t just around the block and we also had to pay a cleaning fee. The house also only provided one extra garbage bag, which is unreasonable for a 4-day stay and a home that can accommodate up to 12 people. The positives were the proximity to the ski resorts and town, the awesome hot tub that was really easy to use, and the fast communication with the property management when we let them know one of the toilets was not working. We received plenty of communication prior to driving up about road closures and expectations. Would not book again but can appreciate why it was so affordable."

"We rented the Falling Leaves home for our son's birthday weekend and it was a great home for the weekend. Excellent location and amenities aside from some minor things that needed to be updated, like the couch in the den has seen better days, and the bed in the master room was pretty uncomfortable. Regarding cleanliness, it was clean, however, we had to call to report dog hairs on all the beds and blankets as well the carpet could have used a deep vacuum if pets were allowed. Management does a great job of communicating and responding. I will stay there again."

"This is a great place to stay if youande going to Big Bear and if you have multiple groups of people that you need to stay with there are more than enough bedrooms and there are plenty of activities to do for example there is a pool table televisions in every room and there is even excuse me"
