"The house is completely warm and inviting clean and beautiful. The property is well-maintained and we sat by the fire pit down by the creek played with Willow the dog. Everything was just wonderful and perfect! "

"This was a great place for our girl's weekend. The weather cooperated and we were able to enjoy the pool, sit on the front porch with an evening cocktail, and because of the quiet neighborhood we were able to sleep in! It was just what we needed and wanted. "

"We have stayed at a few different places in ROL. This one by far has been the best. Place was spotless, no weird odors, towels were fresh. Had just what we needed. Will definitely be staying at the property again!"

"Nice, older well maintained property. Everything is within walking distance for restaurants/shopping/etc. We all had our own rooms and the washer/dryer were a great feature to use. We went to field of dreams and tractor museum. Great weekend get away with family! Thank you! "

"We have stayed at the Elkader Jail House many times and the Harstad Suite is a great room for the 4 of us. The large kitchen and family space on the first floor provide plenty of space for everyone to get together and relax. Its nearby my family and takes the stress off anyone needing to make space for all of us to sleep. Its comfortable, clean and an easy to walk downtown. We'll be back soon!"

"I lead a young adult retreat for our church (24 people). Had a wonderful time, beautiful lodges, great scenery, and tons of stuff to do at the Lodge. Check-in and out was easy, good communication, and place was clean and easy to use. We had a wonderful time!"

"Our family found our stay to be nearly perfect. The space of the house was perfect, the views stunning, and the proximity to Cassville and the state park ideal. The grill wasn't operable, which was unfortunate as it would have been the easiest way to feed a group. During off season, in particular, there are not a lot of restaurants nearby. Overall, we loved it and would definitely recommend."

"Everything was as advertised and worked well for my small group of duck hunters. Train is nearby, but if windows and doors are closed it is not that loud."

"We were in town to help our son and his family move in to their new home. Location for us was perfect. This property is very well maintained, clean and cute as a button. Two things needed: A can opener. Washcloths and hand towel. ( only one of each) Plenty of bath towels and the shower was great! "

"Conditions were excellent. Location was great with easy access to Downtown Dyersville and very close to the Heritage Trail. Really liked the security and the interior facilities were new and clean. I really was impressed with the EV charging station, We are seasoned VRBO travelers, so we are providing a few minor suggestions: should have had Kleenex boxes available in several rooms. A clock in the bedroom and bathroom would have been a plus. A daily counter cleaning product below the sink...
