Worked for our group of chorus singers in town for a coaching weekend. The basement stairs are very narrow, the actual depth of the stair tred. and barefoot you can feel the carpet strip thru the carpet. Kitchen very well appointed. Living room has a very flimsy coffee table with mirrors that could be very dangerous for children. Mirror was actually cracked when someone set a bag on it as we were leaving. Lucky no one was hurt. Very comfortable beds.
Clean and great location for a football game. Walking distance which was great!
My only complaints are that the porch lights are to stay on all night, but there are only shears on the bedroom windows so the people in the front bedroom had a light shining in their room all night. Privacy shade are really needed for the bedrooms.
The jute rug in the living room is worn out and rolled up at certain places to the point of tripping people on more than one occasion. The fibers are breaking off and anyone that sits on the rug wears them on their backside. Not a great look with black pants! It's time for that rug to go into the trash and get something more comfortable with the ability to be vacuumed.
Also, dishtowels are needing in the upstairs kitchen. We bought paper towels, but it would have been nice not to have to do that.
Overall, other than the couple that was stuck in the front bedroom, everyone was pleased with the stay.
This was a great property to stay at! My brother was getting married at the Atlas Theater and this house was a 3 min drive away. The property was exactly how described online and very clean. Beds were very comfy (except people who stayed on the day bed in the left bedroom upstairs didn’t enjoy theirs so much). Lots of room to hangout.
