We had a great stay at the Lyndhurst, clean, tidy & functional, it served our needs well. I would definitely recommend the Lyndhurst to anyone wishing to stay there.

I was really grateful for the staff! They sent me clear check-in details however due to my mistake I had problems at the door and was met by a super kind and helpful staff! Great location in a clean adorable hotel!

The room we stayed in was not the same as the pictures. It's a good basic hotel in a good location. Cleanliness ok. Manage your expectations accordingly with the price and you'll be fine.

The single room room 1. Was a good size with sink and balcony door open to key breeze through. .the staff were great and very attentive. They gave me a fridge as i was there 1 week.. I appreciated that. I WOULD Definitely use lyndhurst again

Have stayed before and gave 5-star rating as the ensuite twin room was good with powerful shower. Booked a single this time with no ensuite. Unfortunately the small room's radiator was stuck on high and the room was like a sauna despite opening the big french windows onto a balcony. The communal bathroom was small and the shower was not the best.

Little gem in perfect location
Having spent 30 years making trips to Great Yarmouth, I must have stayed 100 times and this was up there in the top ten guest house venues. Room spotless and well appointed - strong newish power shower, tea and coffee and very comfortable bed. Not a place to stay if you want bar and lounge as reception room is spartan and used by the host. The pub on the prom is next door to take care of that side but any noise did not carry to the rooms. Not 100 yds to pier, beach and roads.

Read yesterday review as I stayed an extra night. All remains true with the addition of the double room with ensuite was excellent quality and worth the extra. It also had a smart TV and a well equipped shower room. The bed was so comfy that I slept right through also it was so quiet and peaceful I felt at home and would stay against and highly recommend

Highly recommend. Excellent hotel.
Fast check-in. Instructions for self check in texted before check in very easy to understand. modern door lock system easy to use. The lobby stairwells and commun areas spotless Room was spotless and well equipped. Tea coffee kettle cup glass and TV. Clean comfy bed and fluffy towels. What more could you padssible need. Oh yes there is super fast WiFi. I checked out happy that I picked a decent hotel. Happy enough that I extended my trip by a day and booked another night.

Definitely not a 4* property! The radiator didn’t get warm and the shower was cold despite being run for a few minutes. When we got to the Guest House the reception was disorganised and untidy. I hadn’t realised when booking that breakfast wasn’t available either. Doors banging at 3am then very noisy at 4.45am when guests in next door room came back. Wouldn’t go back.

Having read old reviews from when the previous owners had the property, I had high hopes for this guest house. However, on arrival we were shown to our room (deluxe) and I was horrified to find that it was apparent that the beds had only been made, but not changed, from previous visitors. The were hairs and stains all over the bed sheets, layers of dust on all surfaces and a damp smell throughout. We immediately checked out after advising Expedia of this issue. In the following weeks, the owner of the property failed to respond to any communication that Expedia were sending. I warn anyone who was considering this property to sincerely consider elsewhere!

Not in a very nice area as there were quite a few undesirable drunks and druggies living in the neighbouring properties. The owner of the property stood 2 metres from us in the front garden and didn't bother to speak or check we were ok and seemed to be more interested in his phone rather than checking on his customers happiness. A simple good morning would have been good manners. He was rude and we definitely won't be going back.
