"We had an incredible stay at Anita’s house! It was great for all ages - we had two adults, a grandmother, a 7 year old and a 1 year old. The attention to detail in their home is truly impressive. Every corner of the house feels thoughtfully designed, right down to the built-in baby gate at the top of the stairs, which was perfect for keeping our 1-year-old safe. It’s clear they’ve considered all the little things to make guests feel comfortable and at ease. The house itself is modern, stylish, and equipped with all the amenities you could need for a relaxing getaway. We didn’t even realize that we briefly lost power because they have a generator that kicked in and worked seamlessly. It didn’t impact our stay at all! The views from the house are stunning, especially in the fall with the changing leaves. We loved taking the kayaks out on the serene pond—it’s such a peaceful and scenic location. It is close enough to visit Acadia, Bar Harbor and Bangor too! Overall, this was one of the best stays we’ve had, and we can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing escape in a beautiful setting."

"If you're looking for a quiet, secluded, and relaxing place to stay in Maine in the fall, there can't possibly be a better choice in the Bangor/Brewer area. The Cabin in the Woods is magnificent and fit the bill perfectly for my wife and I as a place to headquarter for touring the area by vehicle. We covered a lot of miles off the beaten path in three days to view and photograph colorful foilage, waterfalls, and moose (no moose though), and it was great to return each day to such a comfortable cabin in a beautiful setting. We have stayed at many nice VRBO properties and this was by far the best to date."
