"Really nice hotel, everything was clean and worked, nothing old or worn out. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Breakfast very tasty. "We had an early celebration at a venue about 10 minutes away, so the Nags Head was very convenient. Friendly staff, food alright and best of all we rested well - though, because our room looked out to the main road, I had to get accustomed to the noise of the traffic before dozing off. "

"The staff were friendly the food was delicious unfortunately the bathroom had a leak so had to move rooms for night two the the staff could not have been more helpful and went above and beyond to get us another one of there lovely rooms so we had the pleasure of staying in two different rooms both just as wonderful as each other would definitely recommend "

"Great proper English pub dog friendly. All the staff are helpful and friendly the room we were in ticked all the boxes . We stayed for 2 nights clean towels on second day . Traditional pub with good rooms . Went into Chichester which was about 20min drive great day out beautiful Cathedral. We will going back to the fox goes free ."

"Lovely Saturday night away up at Leith Hill. We arrived for a late lunch. We’d booked a double room for the night but when the staff saw our two Labradors - they gave us a much bigger room. Everyone was really friendly at the pub and the Plough is perfect for exploring the beautiful countryside around Coldharbour. The food was excellent and the service superb. Breakfast was really good. It feels really ‘different’ up there - lovely walks and stunning views. We’ll be back."

"It was our third visit to the Jolly Drover and we have always returned because the beds and bedding are so comfy and the accommodation is simple but well maintained. We have stayed in different rooms and this time were in room 6. Everything was fine until we got into bed. The mattress was so awful that you could feel the slats on the bed. I nearly fell out on one occasion. It was a horrible night and very sad because we were exhausted after a long drive from Wales and settling a family member...
