Disliked: Staff & service, room comfort
Not as Advertised!
The stay had much to be desired. Check in was at 2. When we arrived at 2 we were told it would be about another hour as they were not ready. It was about 35 to 40 mins and the room was ready. When we got to our room we were told that the TV and the fridge dont work. Unfortunately I had to be a bit of a complainer. The young lady at reception called the owner and the next day they gave us a better room with everything working. She even moved our bags she was very nice. We asked for two extra pillows and were given them but when we moved rooms they were taken back. I called asking for the 2 pillows back at was told no problem. Hours later I called back when the pillows never came. I was told the hotel was closed and they would bring them tomorrow. I said I check out in the moring they said sorry we are closed. The mattress felt 100 years old with big dents and springs everywhere. I understand this is not a 5 star and its meant to be a quiet mountain location but at least give me what I paid for. I wont go back unfortunately, which is too bad because it has great potential.
