"Very nice renovated cabin in the woods away from it all. We had a really nice time there. When we were there winter weather was at the height of stormy weather. Snow and ice were happening. A 4WD truck is best for this weather scenario, which we had and experienced no issues.the cabin access road was plowed as necessary, so no issues!We had a great relaxing time! "

"Loved the place and the remoteness. The water pump wasn't working, but a solution was promptly provided. It wasn't the best situation, but it worked. Also, the second bed appeared to be a mattress pad behind the main bed. We ended up just sharing the bed for the duration of the stay. Would return, but would love those issues/inaccuracies to be fixed."

"The description of quiet spot is exactly that. After a day of skiing, this was perfect for our family to come together to unwind and make memories. You get the warmth of home feeling walking in the door. All the amenities were provided and some. Birds visiting all the feeders in the morning gives you that serenity feeling. The hosts are amazing. "No real complaints here! Our host went above and beyond to make things right for us and the cabin was a great way to stay somewhere nice and secluded for a couple nights. Geneva and Watkins Glen were both cool places to visit, the wine was great, and we had some killer food at a couple different local restaurants as well."

Gary and Dawn do a great job with their properties as we have previously stayed at the Fox in the Hen house, which is great as well. The Green green grass of home was amazing. Very private. "This was our third stay at the Love Shack and it couldn’t have been better! We come each fall to tour wineries and waterfalls. The Love Shack is cozy and relaxing with an amazing view of the rising sun each morning, a lovely deck, and all the amenities for a long weekend stay. The location is great for traveling around Seneca and Keuka. The winery across the street-Scout-is wonderful!"

"The hosts are very responsive and did a beautiful job with this cabin. You can see the craftsmanship that went into building it, very clean and cozy. The pier on the pond with kayaks and a fire pit overlooking this gorgeous property are all nice touches. The only minor thing for me, I’m 6 feet and over 220 so the bed and shower were a little tight for someone my size. But I made it work. "

"We originally booked two nights and then decided to extend our stay. Partly because of the weather but also just because we were enjoying it so much! Very cozy and clean. Close to fun things to but you also feel like you’re nice and secluded and have privacy. Beautiful cabin!"
