NEW! NEW! Welcome to the Westside Charmer, your perfect home away from home in a prime location - minutes from downtown and walking distance to all that the Westside and Bridge Street has to offer, all while still being on a quiet, wooded street!

This charming home has been thoughtfully updated and outfitted – including hardwood floors throughout, stainless appliances, a fully equipped kitchen, and high-end furnishings.

THE SPACE
Downstairs you will find a large living room (with queen pullout couch) and open concept dining space, with plenty of space to socialize, have meals, and entertain. Pass through the dining area to a fully stocked kitchen with a coffee bar which also attaches to a spacious laundry room. You will also find a large bathroom with a tiled shower and extra toiletries to fit all your needs on the first floor.

Walking up the spacious staircase, you will find a nice landing area which takes you to two delightful bedrooms that have queen and full beds. Both bedrooms have comfortable bedding and Smart TV’s for all of your streaming needs. All TV's are equipped with Netflix accounts, there is no cable TV available at this property. There is also another bathroom upstairs.

Out back is a cozy patio with mature trees and a small grassy area to get fresh air. FREE street parking (readily available right out front).

Comfortable house in a good location
We highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Grand Rapids. The house was clean and comfortable, the location is close enough to all downtown locations but is removed enough to be relaxing, and the check-in process was smooth.

An early Christmas at the Charmer
We had a lovely stay at the Westside Charmer. It loved up to its name. The host is excellent and has thought of everything to make your time at her home pleasant, comfortable, and cozy. Everything was very clean and orderly. The beds were cozy and the house inviting to all. It was even decorated for Christmas!

We came to GR for a concert at Van Andel, and this house was perfect! It was everything the pictures showed it to be and more!! Everything was so cute and very clean!!! The location is great! So close to everything. We will definitely stay here again when visiting GR!!

This was easily the cleanest, most aesthetically pleasing house our family of 4 has rented. Everything was as described. Location was perfect for us as we wanted to explore GR as well as take short trips to the coast (Holland and Grand Haven). Also highly recommend the Meijer Sculpture Gardens if you have never been!

GVSU Visit

Wedding weekend
We came to Grand Rapids for a wedding and had a wonderful experience. The house was perfect for our family. It was clean and decorated so cute. It was also a great location we were mintues away from the wedding venue and salon. We also got to enjoy the zoo that was mintues away as well. Overall great experience and the host couldnt have been nicer she even had candy delievered to us for us to pass out because we arrived on Halloween.😊

Great Home Base for a Wedding Weekend
Very cute and thoughtfully decorated home, was clean and stocked with linens, towels, etc. - booked primarily due to the close proximity to several of the venues for my sisters wedding. Average neighborhood, served as a great escape and was easy to get to and from.

We had a nice time, the neighborhood is up and coming but close to downtown and easy to get to. The host was amazing and was very prompt with communicating. She put a lot of thought to making her place as accommodating as possible. We would definitely stay there again.

A beautifully and perfectly equipped house
The house was in a great location for us, only 10 minutes from where our son lived and also 2 or so minutes from a good grocery store. The home was very comfortable to stay in and the kitchen which we used daily for breakfast was very well equipped. I was thankful for the air conditioning in the house, and for the laundry facilities which were right next to the kitchen (not up or down the stairs). The three TV’s with Netflix and YouTube were an unusual surprise! I would stay here again.

Everything we needed
We had a great day! Every room was thoughtfully arranged and very clean. There are many little details that were greatly appreciated in the house! For example, laundry detergent and dryer sheets were provided. There was a fully stocked first aid kit, in case of an emergency. Each morning we had Keurig coffee, on the house! I loved the decor throughout the house, and felt very at home. As mentioned in another review, the neighborhood was just average. However, it would not sway me from renting here again!

In GR for volleyball tourney and needed a place to stay with our girls and dogs. We loved Westside Charmer. Everything was nicely though out, designed and even little details were appreciated. Natural textiles, modern decor. Super good coffee provided which was a huge plus as we got in super late and had an early morning. We didn’t use the kitchen much but it looked ready to go with everything needed. Neighborhood was so-so with more than one disruptive person out late at night/early am both nights. No way to control that. Maybe it was the warm weekend. We liked it so much otherwise - we will be back!
