This property is not next to Van Andel Arena. Its on the other side of the highway. I was so irritated, i only rented this because vrbo as well as expedia said it was next door. This is false advertisement, completely deceiving. Not to mention it was so cold that the electric lock they had for the keys didn't work and we were sitting in the cold for almost an hour waiting for the lock to reset and putting in a new number. It never worked and someone had to come and get it open for us. We were not expecting to have to uber everywhere because we were told it was within a 3 min walk to Van Andel and walking distance to restaurants and bars. So that became very very expensive. On the other hand the property was clean and very inviting. Everything worked as advertised. They were quick to respond to our problem initially. I will not be staying again but it has nothing to do with the managing of the apartment. The queen size bed in the other room was not comfortable at all... you should invest in a memory foam topper. This was a very very unexpected pricey vacation.

Bad location
We were very disappointed in this location, it is literally facing the expressway and has excessive road noice! All 3 of could not sleep thru it. It smelt of smoke and weed in the condo/apartment, none of us smoke and are allergic so that was upsetting. The glass door did not lock, we asked to have that fixed and it was stated that “you are on the second floor right?” I assume that means it didn’t need a lock but we were not comfortable with it. Maintenance was supposed to come out the next day but never did. The carpets are stained and dirty. WiFi did not work, check out instructions were no where to be found. Getting and finding the keys to the garage and apartment was complicated. A domestic situation was going on at the home/duplex across the road. The list is long, the neighbors are rude due to the fact they don’t like that someone is using Vrbo in their building. The balcony is a joke, if you open the door you can’t hear over the helicopters and semis! I wouldn’t recommend!
