"Great place to unwind and relax! The cabin was clean and comfortable with games and books galore. The deck in back has a beautiful view of Smith Lake. Star watching at night was wonderful as well. We will be back!"

"This was a great weekend getaway for younger parents that needed a good break from kiddos. We loved the design of the property, only thing was having some more bush/fence privacy. It was great getting to soak in the hot tub with the cold fall air and the occasional drizzle of rain. There’s a great trail to walk on and explore the property and the neighborhood. We enjoyed the fire pit and all the nature there was to be in for the weekend! "

"The cabin was in a beautiful location on the lake. The inside was very clean and spacious. Pool table was a bonus! My son loved it. "This cabin is in a great location and the owner had good communication. It is definitely rustic which I knew when booking and have no problem with. Two issues that need to be addressed are that it wasn’t clean. Every room had to be swept when I got there, floor needed moping but no mop. There was old moldy food in the fridge. One of the windows had the single glass pane out of the frame. With the other window having a broken pane. The pane fell out 2 other times during the stay.This is a big...

"Property is very cozy and well furnished. The lake was very beautiful in late October and having a canoe to paddle was great for a lake this size. I’d definitely go back again anytime of year. "

Something to note, which wasn’t on the listing: there is no garbage service provided at this cabin. we stayed for 2 weeks, and it was a real hassle, especially because there is a garbage company that services the area. there are no places in town to drop off a bag full of trash. the kitchen is well-appointed, and the toilet paper isn’t one-ply :)"

"We enjoyed our stay here over Labor Day. It is a unique/quirky house. The children loved the water and kayaks. Water was clear and shallow. Fishing off the dock was also popular. Three small queen rooms on first floor - second floor loft was definitely open to the rest of the house. Two separate living spaces and a screened in deck. "
