"My wife and I stayed four nights with our 12yr old grandsons while skiing at Powderhorn, and had a wonderful time. The cottage is very close to the Powderhorn ski area. So close that I would ski with my grandsons in the morning, then drive back to grab my wife for lunch. The hosts are great! Very communicative and responsive. The unit was clean, quiet and comfortable and spacious for the four of us. There was also a heated garage for my truck, which nice because it was cold and snowy a couple of days. It was a great experience. We will definitely go back!"

"This unique house is truly one of a kind. It was built by the family who still own it and was created and decorated with care and love. It was very comfortable and I appreciated the quality of the bed, shower, and kitchen which was well stocked. The charming aspects of the castle included my favorite room, the round breakfast nook in the turret, the tongue and groove aspen high A frame type ceiling, and the homey Western vibe and art. The setting was exceptional - I fell asleep to the sound of Kiser Creek running through the yard, which had an an aspen grove out back, and the view out over the valley was amazing, especially at sunrise and sunset. The castle is just a few miles from Cedaredge, a great small town, and the top of the 10,000 feet Grand Mesa. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. This is a great place to stay. "

"The staff was friendly and welcoming. Over our 3-day stay, they greeted us in the hallway mutliple times, asking if there was anything we needed. Great bonus was the chocolate chip cookies once or twice a day!"

"Came to visit family in the area...turns out family wanted to visit us on the awsome tounge creek ranch...we brought lots of things we didn't need because its so well equiped...beautiful peaceful getaway for us or anyone and donkeys mules horses dogs very lucky animals there..."
