"The location was good and the kitchen was well stocked in as far as dishes, cutlery, towels,laundry detergent etc The place needs a good cleaning! The chair in the living room needs to be cleaned as it had a bad odor. The downstairs bathroom especially. Lots of missing light bulbs making the place dark. "I will say that the property setting was amazing, with picturesque views, especially with large windows, you could see the beauty of winter.The check in process was seamless and communication with host was amazing and timely. We were just a bit disappointed that the fireplace was not functional and there were no ping pong table available which were 2 things we were looking forward to. Other than that, we had an amazing time with the family."

"There was mould and bugs. We didn’t stay because it would have been unhealthy. Had to leverage my visa support for a refund. This place is disgraceful - stay clear. "

"The place we stayed was a little bit away from the convenience. It was too far for walking since bus stop was distantly away. Fortunately we got rides and didn't need bus transportation. Overall the place met our satisfaction since it was in a quiet area and we only stayed for few hours for sleeping each day. "

"My husband and I traveled from Victoria to meet up with relatives from the U.K to explore Atlantic Canada. We found Paulette and her accommodations a great place to start our adventures. Centrally located we were able to walk to many local attractions, including Halifax Harbour. Place worked out great for the five of us and definitely would stay again. "Met by the very attentive owner who is very polite. Answered texts very quickly, and checked in to make sure everything was okay and to see if I needed anything. Place was clean, bed is very comfortable, and amenities are close by with a car. Easy access to major highway close by."

"Halifax was a beautiful destination. Lots to see and do. Took car trips up the Atlantic coast and saw quaint fishing villages, and towns that suffered through different maritime disasters. It was nice to have an accommodation that we could use as a hub for all our adventures. Museums were informative and plentiful. All in all we had a wonderful trip. "

"We had a wonderful weekend stay. The home is spacious and very well laid out. Our group loved to gather in the kitchen and main livingroom area and had a movie night on our second night in the basement, really great set up for a bigger group! Hot tub is a lovely bonus, we didn't have the chance to walk down to the lake but we enjoyed the view from the deck and dinning room.
