Beautiful custom home, fully handicapped accessible, and completely kid friendly! Your dogs are welcome, and there is an enclosed area off the deck especially for them. Wireless internet, cable, and local phone line. Relax by the gas fireplace with a book or games (puzzles and games provided). Or go outside to relax in the hot tub built into the large deck. Sleeps 10 in beds, 2 in sleeper sofa bed, and 2 more little ones in a crib or pack and play. Sofa sleeper is in second den with doors that close to create 5th bedroom. Dining table, extra table, and additional chairs to seat all sleeping guests. Just ask for any children's items you might need--we have toys, games, videos, booster, jog stroller, etc.

Loved staying here! Took my daughter and her husband for a weekend getaway for her birthday and this was perfect. The house was very spacious, deck was amazing for all day use, night star gazing spectacular!

This house was very roomy and comfortable! We were able to see a mama and baby moose just outside the fence. 😍 The house is super close to Grand Lake and Rocky Mtn NP. We enjoyed staying here.

Christmas in Gran Lake
Katie is wonderful. Location is fantastic. The winter storm was beautiful, and subsided on the day in and out. Some restaurants and shops were open.

Good Stuff in Grand Lake
This was probably the best location for our yearly family trip. Close to Grand Lake yet it felt secluded. Fire pit area was a big hit with cooking and guitar playing. The house is tidy with plenty of space. Kitchen is open and allows for many chefs to spoil the soup. If we decide to go back to this part of Colorado, we will stay here again. Katie was very responsive and check-in was a breeze.

Restful Retreat in Grand Lake
Katie’s home had more than ample room for all of us to spread out. Quite clean and tidy. The hot tub was great for the evenings. We loved the short drive to Grand Lake. This small town has its own character, is very community orientated, and is not overrun by commercial enterprises that you might expect. We struck gold in the Rockies by choosing this location.

Awesome getaway!
It was a great time had by our family of 14 and 2 dogs. The house was plenty big enough for us all to spread out, the back deck was wonderful to sit and relax morning and evening and the hot tub was perfect! The area was nice and quit to enjoy the outdoors. The kids like the playground area as well. If we come to the area again we would stay here. Thank you for having us Katie!

Child friendly and felt like home
What a fun spot to spend time! This house was perfect for our extended family to gather for the holiday weekend. It is close to Grand Lake, Rocky Mountain National Park, and to multiple lakes which provides lots of things to do outside and the home has multiple spots to gather inside so we could spread out. The hot tub allowed us to watch the snow fall and the fireplace let us warm up afterwards. Our host responded quickly to any questions that came up and was very helpful. I highly recommend considering staying here!

Great house!
This house was chosen for our family reunion and everyone agreed that there could have been no better choice! What an absolute pleasure to stay here! It was very clean, the kitchen was furnished with all that was needed to cook and then some, plenty of linens and towels. The camp fire was a big hit for our family reunion and the hot tub was great! The owner was very responsive to questions. I would absolutely recommend this house!

Amazing
We came to spread my Mother In Laws ashes so the rip was a little emotional. Everything about this home was amazing, plenty of room, very welcoming. Made the whole trip and process easier. Something I missed about Colorado was being able to sit on the porch and look at the beautiful view and I was able to sit on the back deck and drink my coffee and enjoy the beautiful scenery. I hope and pray that I am able to visit this home agasin.

Grand Lake Experience
Our time in Grand Lake and staying at Katie's Place could not have been better. The pictures of Katie's Place actually do not do it justice. Even better than expected. Very accomodating, with lots of amenities. Plenty of space for our family of 7. Loved the hot tub and fire pit. The check-in process was very smooth and Katie was very communicative. Grand Lake is a wonderful little town to experience and of course Rocky Mountain National Park is incredible. We would definitely stay at Katie's Place again.

Great Property!
We found the property to be full of the amenities of home with a great view! This is a very spacious home with plenty of room to entertain family and friends. The big deck, hot tub and fire pit provided a lot of fun. The location was extremely convenient for either going into the town of Grand Lake or getting rentals for boating, paddle boards, etc. We rented a pontoon from Trail Ridge Rentals five minutes down the road and had a great afternoon on Shadow Mountain Lake and Grand Lake. Owners left plenty of instructions to make things easy during our stay.

Great family getaway
The cabin was great for our whole family. We have kids that ages range from 16 months to 11. Our 16 month old was able to play throughout without being in any danger. Very well child proofed with appropriate gates everywhere. We saw a large moose right off the deck the first morning, which was very exciting. This was our first time staying in Grand Lake, and there was so much to see and do. We did Rocky Mountain National Park, hiking around the lake, kayaking, played at the beach, a rafting excursion, and explored the town. It was hard to leave!

Amazing Family House
This was a wonderful place to stay with family. The cabin accommodated 3 separate families, two with toddlers. There were tons of games and toys for the kids. They loved the playground! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could ever want or need, including kids’ plates, utensils, and seating. The fire pit was incredible. We made many memories while making s’mores. Adult and kid sized picnic tables. The location was awesome with tons of wildlife. So close to the town and National Park. Katie was very helpful and accommodating. Our only regret was that we could not stay longer. We will be back for sure.

Best vacay yet! The house is amazing! Katie gifted us with a wonderful welcome basket with a nice bottle of wine, brownies and an amazing loaf of bread. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. We cooked everyday more because we enjoyed the house so much. Pearl, the property manager met us there and showed us the house and gave us a warm welcome. It is only a few minutes from Grand Lake which is such a neat town. You have amazing views of mountains and Grand Lake. And it's only 5 minutes from Rocky mountain national park. The hot tub was wonderful and the gas fire pit was perfect every night. The beds were comfy We! We will miss Colorado!

Birthday Getaway
Katie was very attentive leading up to the stay and quick to answer any questions I had. The property was very clean and pretty well secluded, making for a nice, relaxing stay! I recommend her as a host!
