Our stay at Smith Cabin was truly exceptional. Despite being brand new, the cabin exudes a warm and cozy ambiance. The master suite's bed is exceptionally comfortable, and the multi-head shower offers a spa-like experience, perfect for chilly evenings.
The well-stocked kitchen, complete with every utensil you’d find at home, made cooking our own meals a pleasure. For convenience, I recommend shopping for groceries in Granby, as Grand Lake's smaller markets can be limited and pricey.
The living room and deck are the cabin's highlights. The living room’s plush couch and floor-to-ceiling windows provide breathtaking views, and the deck is perfect for both dining al fresco and relaxing around the cozy fire pit. We were fortunate to see a mother and baby moose grazing right in the backyard during our stay.
While we didn't use the upstairs or guest bedroom, the cabin easily accommodates two families, making it a great choice for larger groups.
Our time at Smith Cabin was a perfect escape from the Texas heat. We enjoyed sunny days, afternoon thunderstorms, and clear night skies. The cabin’s location is ideal, just minutes from the west entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park, the charming downtown Grand Lake, and picturesque lake views. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.
