"The overall rating is 3 stars, on account of the outstanding location to one of the island's nicest beach areas and exemplary service from the host who is simply outstanding. However the small details added up and so many of them were missing that it dropped to a 3. Le jardin était très privé et tranquille, et le chalet était spacieux et accueillant. / The rental is conveniently located a two-minute walk from the southern end of Trou aux Biches beach. The owners tried their best to fix it themselves, but had to concede defeat and call in a plumber. The house, and it's facilities need updating and renovating eg. Sitting room furniture is very outdated, the downstairs shower cubicle needs replacing/ renovating, the masonry around the swimming pool needs renovating,...
