The Space:
In 2018, this 8-unit building underwent a complete renovation where it was stripped down to its bones and redesigned with modern finishes and decor. Each townhome was fully refinished with new stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and a fully stocked kitchen. Two bright and airy bedrooms and one full bathroom are located upstairs, and one half bathroom is located off the kitchen downstairs.
A small patio off the back of the townhome gives guests a nice outdoor space to grill, lounge and enjoy the spacious backyard.
Guest Access:
This unit is located on the far left end of the apartment building. Guests have access to a private patio area with a grill, outdoor table and chairs. Parking is available directly in front of the unit. There is plenty of green space to walk your leashed dog in the front of the building and in the backyard.
The Neighborhood:
Grand Bay, known as the watermelon capital of Alabama, is a small farming community centrally located to many popular Gulf Coast attractions. The town is conveniently located off of I-10, Alabama's main interstate that runs parallel to the the Gulf Coast.
Dauphin Island is a small island situated just off the the beautiful Alabama Gulf Coast. Tourists and families flock to Dauphin Island year-round for the miles of beaches, the fresh Gulf Coast seafood and world-class deep sea fishing.
Mobile hosts many events throughout the year, but none compare to Mardi Gras celebrated every spring when tens of thousands join together all around the city for parades and other fun events surrounding this Southern celebration.
Downtown Mobile has many different attractions that may interest families and tourists, including the USS Alabama battleship docked in Mobile Bay, and Fort Conde, an 18th century fort built by the French during the colonial period. (Both are available to tour.) While you’re exploring downtown, be sure to take a stroll down Dauphin Street to see the old historic buildings of Mobile, many of which are now restaurants featuring the finest Gulf Coast cuisine.
