This home comfortably sleeps 10 people (HOA policy) and is perfect for two or three families to share. There is a master suite on the main level with a 5 piece bath and a kids' room with two sets of bunk beds (4 beds) - perfect for a large family with kids. The lower level has an entertainment room with video and board games, a wet bar, and two more bedrooms: one with a queen bed and another with a twin over full bunk bed and an additional twin bed. The home also has two high quality roll-away cots and two pack-and-plays. Needless to say, your group of ten has many options for sleeping arrangements with room left over!
The warm and inviting great room with a gas fireplace, flat screen TV (DirecTV), and a huge open kitchen is the perfect place to gather with friends and family and reminisce about the day's activities. Two additional TVs: one in master bedroom and one in the downstairs living area with DirecTV as well.
In-floor radiant heat with separate climate zones make the whole house comfortable for everyone.
Winter Park and Mary Jane Ski Resorts are a short 25 minute drive away -- or take the free shuttle from Granby to the ski resorts!
Hot Sulphur Springs, our best kept secret, is a 15 minute drive. Relax in one of their 21 mineral pools and baths.
There are miles of Nordic skiing terrain within short distances at Devil's Thumb Resort, Snow Mountain Ranch, Ski Granby Ranch or Grand Lake Nordic Center. The kids will enjoy the tubing and sledding as well!
Rocky Mountain National Park and the Never Summer Wilderness are a short 25 minute drive and offer the pristine beauty of the Colorado backcountry and the Continental Divide. The headwaters of the majestic Colorado River are right outside the town of Granby.
Grand Lake, Lake Granby, Shadow Mountain Lake, and Monarch Lake are all within a 20 minute drive. Take the whole family on a short hike by the lakes to beautiful waterfalls! Outdoor activities include hiking, skiing, boating, mountain biking, golfing, fishing, kayaking, rafting, and much, much more.
Nearby summer activities include nearly all forms of water recreation: boating, water skiing, sailing, jet-skiing, fishing, swimming as well as kayaking and white water rafting. Miles of hiking trails in Rocky Mountain National Park, Never Summer Wilderness, and Arapahoe National Forest provide unparalleled wildlife watching opportunities.
There are several 18-hole golf courses within 15 minutes: Grand Lake, Grand Elk, Golf Granby Ranch, as well as the 27-hole Pole Creek Golf Course.
Other fun activities include the Rocky Mountain Repertory Theater Company with performances at the Grand Lake community center, Jazz Festival in Winter Park, horseback riding, shooting ranges, watching the Granby Rodeo at Flying Heels Arena, historical homesteads and ghost towns, museums, restaurants, and antique stores - just to name a few.
HOA requires us to post these rules and regulations:
- Trailers, campers, RVs, and boats cannot be parked on the property for more than 24 hours. All vehicles must be parked in driveway overnight.
- ATVs, dirt bikes, snow mobiles and any other off road motorized vehicles may not be driven on community roads or properties.
- No loud outdoor noise between 10 PM and 8 AM daily.
- Outdoor lights should be turned off by 10 PM.
- Guests must adhere to all county fire bans. Fireworks are NEVER permitted.
