    Located on the southern tip of the island of Tenerife, Granadilla de Abona wisely combines the new and the old. Its church is one of its treasures, surrounded by other historical constructions that make the heart of the town a wonderful place.
    In a rural setting with a spectacular landscape towards the sea and the mountains, you can find the San Francisco Rural House, which carefully restored and respecting the traditional Canarian architectural style, has been decorated with simplicity and rustic air.
    The accommodation, which has all the comforts our clients need, is distributed in a kitchen-dining room, living room, bathroom, three bedrooms and terrace.
    Outside the house you will find a magnificent terrace where you can enjoy a unique view of the sea and the mountains with furniture necessary for your comfort.
    The Rural House San Francisco offers everything for the enjoyment of an unforgettable holiday as it will be a good place to enjoy hiking and mountain sports, taking advantage of the opportunity to practice cycling and climbing, among others, without renouncing the maritime character of the island, because the natural beach of El Médano are within walking distance and is one of the favorite destinations for windsurfers and skysurfers.

The house is right in the centre of Granadilla de Abona and an easy walk to cafes and shopping. The terrace faces east and the parish church and the sunrises are just stunning. The view reaches right down to the ocean in the distance. The host made sure nothing was missing, we asked for an iron and he provided it extra. We found two beers and water in the fridge. The premises were immaculately clean. The only thing that might be a struggle at some times of the evening is parking, and you might need to leave the car further down in the centre.

Perfect host and a great apartment

Iván Nicolás is the perfect host. He is friendly, welcoming, always available and generous with his time. We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is spacious, bright, and super clean. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. Everything was in working order, including the WIFI and the TV. We really enjoyed sitting on the terrace. There is a great view of the surrounding hills and gardens, with palm trees, flowering vines, and blossoming orange trees. In the distance, you can see the ocean. Each day started with a marvellous sunrise. We had a great time and we already miss the place. Thank you, Iván, for making our holiday so memorable. John and Elizabeth

January sunshine with sea and mountain breezes

Spacious hilltop first floor modernised apartment with balconies which catch the morning and afternoon sun; mountain and sea views, and parking. Near to shops and local walking routes, and bus station for trips to beaches or further towns and villages. At this time of year it was not hot at 6000 m above sea level but the mountain weather was interesting to watch, and any slight rain quickly dried in the sun. The host is charming and helpful when needed. Highly recommended!

Schön eingerichtete Wohnung für 2 Personen. Betten sind zwei getrennte Einzelbetten. Wir waren im Winter dort, da ist die Wohnung etwas kalt und nur durch einen mobilen Gasofen heizbar. Im Sommer ist dies sicherlich ein Vorteil. Der Balkon ist Richtung Nordosten und daher eher schattig. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und ordentlich und der Gastgeber sehr nett. Einen eigenen Parkplatz gibt es nicht, wenn man ca. 50m vor der Wohnung links abbiegt findet man am Ende der Straße aber immer einen Parkplatz.

Ruhig und einfach zu finden, Wohnung praktisch

Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Vermieter, sehr saubere, einfache Wohnung mit allem was es braucht. Kann während der Winterzeit und am Abend etwas kühler sein (Gasofen vorhanden). Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants sind im Ort vorhanden. Terrasse mit schöner Aussicht auf Berge und Meer.
