"My daughter and i came to stay in Costa Calma, we choose Jose and Veras villa Romeo and how lucky we were to have had the privilage to do so!! Jose and Vera were the most wonderful hosts. Our flight was delayed upon arrival and jose was on hand to welcome us. He was gracious and kind, taking us to the supermarket at 9.30pm so we had fresh water and settled into our home for the week. Towels, beach towels and a kitchen with everything you need and more. 2 sets of keys, which was handy as we travelled with friends. Lovely views, and great communication from the host. "Wonderful little oasis tucked away from the crowds. I cannot pick any one thing to review because everything was just perfect. One thing that must be mentioned is the quality of contact and how helpful the host was. Alejandro almost instantly replied to WhatsApp messages and was the most accommodating and helpful host I have ever encountered. Quite honestly have not had such a relaxing break since our honeymoon 20 odd years ago. Thank you Alejandro. We will be back. Soon!"

"Finca El Lomo is a wonderful haven of peace in a noisy world. It is situated in the heart of the island yet only a 15 minute drive from the coastal towns and beaches. The hosts Linda and Hans keep the property in immaculate condition. They are always on hand to help but unobtrusive. A hire car is essential but it is an ideal base to tour the whole island. This place is a rare gem in a world of mass tourism!"

"Great location in quite non-touristy, town. Well stocked and 2nd bathroom is a godsend. As was a shopping trolley for carrying the water from one of two local supermarkets. One slightly odd thing was that the kitchen only had one socket - for a kettle, microwave and coffee maker, so was a little annoying to have to keep plugging & unplugging. Overall a fantastic stay & great communication with Candeleria."
