"The area is beautiful. An unspoilt part of France that has much to offer. Jenny our host lives next door to this traditional gite. She met us on arrival and was hugely welcoming. Throughout our stay she advised things to do and places to eat. We kayaked, hiked, climbed and went on the luge. The gite has all things you might need to stay. We often cooked at home. "This is the perfect holiday home! The house is spacious, modern and so well equipped with everything you could need. The owner Matthieu lives nearby and was so helpful and friendly. The children loved playing tennis on the driveway, football on the grass and boules on the petanque pitch. The sleepy village of Cristot is so picturesque and the house offers beautiful views over the corn field with stunning sunsets in the evening. "According to Catherine, we were the first English to stay at the property. Presumably most Brits come to Normandy to see the Beaches and WW2 memorials. But there's so much more - and the very comfortable and well equipped la P'tite Maison provides an excellent base to visit towns like Bayeux, Caen and Falaise (with memories of conquests 900 years earlier), and attractive countryside like the Suisse Normande. Give it a try: we recommend it!"

Endroit très calme, tv; les chaînes ne sont pas toutes accessibles. Cuisine très bien équipée rien à dire sur ça. Pour nôtre part ont n'a pas pu utiliser la piscine part faute de temp."

"The property is amazing. We felt Yolaine and Jean-Pierre undersold the property. It is amazing. The location one one side of the valley provides the most amazing view. The heated pool is much bigger than the photos suggest and the patio area is much more generous than it appears. There is also loads of shaded grassy space. We spend days and days not even leaving the house and garden."

"The reason we booked this apartment was that they advertised baby cots, which I reserved and emailed separately to confirm. When we were arrived they confirmed a cot was set up in the room for us. However, there was no cot and one could not be found in the building. This was extremely inconvenient as we have a small baby with us."

"We spent just one night here and it was superb. The staff were extemely friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was super and reasonably priced unlike most hotels in France where it costs a lot more. The room was a great size as was the bed and batroom. It was ideally placed and had a nice area to walk the dogs."
