"Well, if you want to visit Schaffhausen, and who wouldn't, this is certainly the place to stay if you are either driving on coming by train. The parking is next door, as is the station. Room was large, clean and comfortable and the hotel's restaurant/bar really nice. It is convenient to everything, and walking distance to all you would want to see. A fantastic place to visit and to stay. Would highly recomment do anyone."

"We stayed for one night only, and it was perfect! The breakfast is super nice with everything you need and more, and attention to detail is guaranteed. The buffet was always refilled and there was never a shortage of anything. We stayed with friends (3 rooms) and got to see that they are all a bit different. Some are a little more modern/traditional than others. Everything was super clean and all of the staff we had contact with very friendly. Also written communication was fast, helpful & friendly."

"The apartment was lovely with gorgeous views of the valley and a nice balcony. The dimensions of the rooms were perfect and well laid out. Our host Gudrun was very kind and laid back in a positive way. We were late arriving due to train delays and perhaps a bit frazzled and it was so nice to interact with someone cheerful and relaxed. We were originally looking to stay more centrally in Freiburg proper but most places don't have parking included so we opted to be out of town and I'm so glad we did. Our dates were in late November. Often there were blue skies in the village but down in Freiburg and neighbouring Alsace region it was cloud and or fog all day. I don't mind grey days in moderation but it was so nice to have those blue skies. There are well marked hiking trails for all fitness levels in and around the village as well as two great restaurants a short walk from the apartment. We highly recommend this VRBO"

"The breakfast buffet was the best I’ve ever had anywhere—cold cuts, 3 kinds of bread, smoked salmon, sliced cucumbers, tomatoes, yogurt, chees, scrambled eggs and bacon, plus cereals, pancakes and coffees and fruit juice. Trafo is easy walking distance from the railway station. My only complaint was a lack of USB ports in the room. I had to borrow an adapter from the front desk, and it took forever the recharge the battery. Not fancy, but excellent service. I would stay again."

"Clean, spacious and comfortableroom for family of 5. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was amazing and catered to us per our requests. Location is very close to most towns by drive. It would help if the laneway had a sign indicating the hotel. Gps guided perfrctly though. "
