"We had a great two night stay at the grand Astoria hotel. The staff were excellent parking our car and bringing all our luggage to the room while we went to the pool as we were early. The staff was over the top helpful at all times. It was in a great location to walk to the beach which the hotel looked after getting us our spot. All of the great restaurants and shops were right around the corner. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Hotel staff very friendly especially the receptionists. Nice clean hotel. A few things could make it better > 1. A cool swimming pool for those super hot days. 2. Breakfast in bed Service. 3. Sky Sports TV channels. 4. The open outside space next to the bar, I would use that space and put either an outdoor infinity swimming pool there or seating for a restaurant. "I rarely give a poor rating like this. But we were so disappointed in the hotel. We probably had the worst room in the hotel. It was on the top floor and the air conditioning just didn’t work. Our room was 80+ degrees at night. Not a comfortable temperature for sleeping. We asked each evening for them to please lower the temperature. It just didn’t happen. "Family holiday, we used the place for eating and sleeping. Once we use the swimming pool that was OK. Close to the "new" downtown of Grado (1 Km walk) and around 5 Km to old downtown. Possible to rent bikes 2€ per hour or 8€ per day"

2N couple get-away

"Safe and great location within the center, just about 8mins walk to Central Train and Bus Stations. 24-Hr reception with free Coffee/Tea at Dining Area. Clean and Comportable room size. Free BF with loads to choose however the fresh pastries caught my attention. High customer service from reception to kitchen staffs - Victoria, Pele, Ester and another lady from kitchen. High salute to Silvia and Marco both from reception, super helpful with queries and directions...extending efforts to fulfill your needs. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay back if given a chance. "

"We visited Trieste for 2 days and this was my first time in this city. The location of the hotel was fantastic, we walked everywhere! Also, it looks like the hotel was recently renovated, but everything was impeccable! The room was very spacious and beautiful! Highly recommended! "
