"The hotel is within walking distance of the Gozo to Malta ferry port (7 minutes downhill). It is very clean and we were welcomed with a glass of juice on arrival at reception. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. The room was stunning and the only criticism was that there were only 2 teabags and 2 sachets of sugar, but we managed to obtain extras and milk from the bar. Breakfast was extremely busy (0930) and we had aa little wait to be seated. The selection on offer was very good with fruit, cold meats, croissants, bread and cooked items of eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, tomatoes and beans. All in all a super hotel and would definitely stay again."

"Wonderful, kind hosts who took care of us on the day we were sick. They offered tea and honey in our room. George drove us to town on 2 days, saving us the bus hassle. Breakfast was wonderful: eggs cooked to order, fruit, toast, cheese, ham, lots of coffee! It’s important to communicate about entry on arrival bc hosts are only there in the morning. They will tell you where to find key to your room when you call. They did not communicate through this app, but by phone, WhatsApp. The walk to the bay is short, down a steep hill and, of course, up again. I recommend a day trip to Comino Island and, visit to Citadel and coffee at many places in Victoria. For sleeping, I like Xlendi Bay Area and this BnB. "

"A well needed break for the family, including a 7 & 4 year olds, who enjoyed dragging us into the lovely pool each morning. Raymond’s villa lived up to expectations, from the minute I opened the entrance door, seeing the pool to walking inside with my son to run around selecting one of the three ample bedrooms. We opted for the one downstairs as we could get to the pool first. All had their own en suite, and beds were comfortable too. The property is set in a great location for both exploring Gozo and Malta. It is in a quieter part of Qala and has very easy access to the ferry so no problem for trips over to the mainland. There were a number of close by supermarkets, small and large (Gozo size) and perfectly adequate for all the usual family supplies. There is a decent relaxing beach nearby within a short car trip, and within walking distance bars and a few restaurants making a perfect excuse to not cook! So with a hire car at ones disposal (parking at the end of the entrance ally is not a problem), I would say Raymond’s villa makes for the perfect base to enjoy all Malta (and Gozo) has to offer.
