Stunning New Luxury Villa Directly On French Leave Beach

Welcome to the French Leave South Beach!!

This newly constructed villa is located directly on the most sought-after beach on the island, a mile-long stretch of pink sand that has been ranked in the top 20 beaches of the world. French Leave Beach has only half a dozen houses on it and is usually deserted.

The "Bight" villa features spectacular sea views from every room. The great room looks out at the ocean through a wall of windows. The sea view kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel Bosch appliances and African mahogany counter tops.

The Bight has two master suites, each furnished with a king bed and equipped with a full en-suite bath appointed in African mahogany. Both bedrooms have ocean views. The bathrooms feature full showers and Rohl fixtures throughout.

Beyond the private doors made of African mahogany is the outdoor living space offering 180% views of French Leave Beach and the Atlantic Ocean.

Amenities include vaulted tray ceilings, ceiling fans, air conditioning, Super-fast Starlink WIFI internet, flat screen satellite TV, washer/dryer, and a backup generator, grill, beach chairs & umbrella. The cottage was clean, and the house manager Michele was extremely helpful and responsive. The internet/wifi connection isn’t the greatest but we’ve learned that it is due to the location of the cottage. So if you need a strong and fast internet you may be disappointed. All in all a beautiful property, managed by friendly, attentive staff. Definitely would rent this again!

There is a fantastic back porch that looks out onto the beach and we spent many relaxing hours there. The furniture is nice and comfortable. The beds were great, very nice linens and comfortable mattress. Everything was super clean and the kitchen was fully stocked. You can’t beat the sunrises from the back deck. Also having two master suites with separate heat and air units was a real treat. Everyone was comfortable and relaxed.

Amazing, we will be back
This place was incredible. I have rented many VEBO listings over the last 12 years. In Hawaii, Turks and Caicos, Belize, Virgin Islands, Eleuthera, Montauk, San Diego, Washington DC, etc. this place was definitely in the top. The beach is absolutely the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen. Hands down. We hardly even explored anywhere else because it was so nice. Michele the property manager was very responsive. Pam the owner was excellent to deal with by email. We used Tyrone Knowles was excellent to rent an SUV from. The house was extremely well set up. It literally had every thing we needed. No cheap annoyances like Hawaii where once we paid $500/night and they didn’t even give us one roll of toilet paper. There was toilet paper, paper towels, fascial tissues, beach towels, very nice loungers, two umbrellas, small chairs you could bring to other beaches. There were a whole set of matching small & large yeti to-go cups and a medium cooler. The kitchen was well set up with nice pans, dishes, cocktail glasses, wine glasses and even sharp knives. There is a nice blender. The porch was amazing to sit on with really nice comfortable Padded deck chairs. None of the uncomfortable metal stuff so many places have. The TV was nice and there was direct TV with movies and we were able to watch March madness. The view of the pink sand beach was amazing from the deck. We will be back for sure.

I loved the experience of being on French Leave beach and the Bight II was absolutely stunning and well appointed. Thankfully, Michelle, our caretaker, was able to have the generator run for us to keep us cool and with lights on as there was a power outage while we were there. The attention to detail, spices, wine and beer in the refrigerator upon arrival, and the right appliances and cookware made our stay an 11 on a 10 scale.

As the locals will attest, French Leave is simply the best beach on the island. Both villas, Bite II and Dogtrot, are stunningly beautiful and thoughtfully designed. Our children joined us this year and stayed in Dogtrot. This is the perfect vacation spot on Eleuthera.

Perfect Villa on a perfect beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This villa was exactly as described. It sits on one of the most pristine and deserted beaches in Governor's Harbor on the Atlantic side. This villa was clean, updated with Bosch appliances, huge living space with two en suite bedrooms each with a king bed and double sink bathrooms. Ceiling fans and central air in all rooms. The view from the living area and one bedroom was incredible. Plantation shutters on all windows for privacy. Location to Governor's Harbor was ideal. Close to Buccanear Club and groceries, gas, liquor store, dive shop and bank. Great snorkling right out deont on the almost private beach. We walked that beach every day and saw reef sharks, stingray and crabs. The watwr is clear and clean of any seaweed. Reefs dot the shoreline for great snorkeling and swimming. Great front porch for reading and watching the thurnderstorms pass by over the ocean in the evening. Best accommodations we have stayed in so far. This was our 3rd trip to the ilsand and we will be staying there again! Special thanks to Michele Johnson the property manager for her quick and efficient responses to any of our needs. She went above and beyond for us and we aee so grateful to have met her.
