Beach Estate w/Htd Pool, Tennis, Pickleball, Walk to Tippys, SUMMER SPECIAL!

Welcome to Tir Na N'og, “Land of the forever young”, a luxurious beachfront estate on 10 secluded acres of gardens and walkways. Tir Na Nog includes a stunning, mile-long deserted pink-sand beach, manicured grounds surrounded by coconut palms, flowers, fruit trees, a private tennis court, and a large, spectacular new infinity-edge pool. (Pool can be heated at renter's option for a fee of $400/week.)

SUMMER RATES HAVE BEEN DISCOUNTED FROM $8550 TO $7250 PER WEEK FOR SUMMER OF 2024 ONLY.

Tir Na No’g was built in 2007 by local carpenters and craftsmen under the vision of famed interior decorator David Flint Wood. Decorated in the elegant style of an old Caribbean plantation house, the four separate housing structures allow for bedroom privacy, along with group dining and socializing in the Great Hall and surrounding patios. The estate is rented to only one group at a time, and all structures are included in the weekly rate.

Tir Na Nog is situated in the most sought-after location on Eleuthera, the Atlantic seashore on the Banks Road, where a select number of estates overlook a beautiful pink-sand beach, only minutes from nearby restaurants. The buildings on the estate include:

1. THE GREAT HALL: This elegant colonial-style building, surrounded by a large, wrap-around porch with sweeping views of the estate, is the gathering place for fine dining, relaxation and entertaining. The Great Hall features a full kitchen and large dining area with seating for 12. The spacious living/entertainment area, elegantly furnished in old plantation style, includes a large flat-screen TV with thousands of channels, DVD movie library, books, & games. The Great Hall also has a breezy outdoor dining area with a gas grill, and a roof deck with ocean views. WE NOW HAVE SUPER-FAST STARLINK WIFI THROUGHOUT!

2. THE MAIN HOUSE: This lovely building (right across the little driveway from the Great Hall) features another large wrap-around porch with views of the tennis court and gardens. Inside are three bedrooms, each with a full en-suite bathroom and separate entrance from the porch. Two of the bedrooms have king beds. The third has twin beds with two additional trundle beds. The bedrooms in the main house do not connect internally, so you must walk out onto the wrap-around veranda to go from one bedroom to another. Keep this in mind if traveling with small children.

3. THE BEACH COTTAGES: These two romantic cottages with views of the ocean and pool have king bedrooms with full bathrooms, under-counter refrigerators, coffee makers, and outdoor seating areas with deck chairs. They are located 25 yards from the Main House and Great Hall.

4. THE TIKI HUT: This beachside, open-air shelter has shady seating under a thatched roof. The nearby Cabana has outdoor showers and a storage room housing beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, and beach toys.

5. THE TENNIS PAVILION provides shady seating on white wicker furniture beside the tennis court. The pavilion is fully equipped with tennis rackets and balls. It also contains a laundry room with washer and dryer.

MORNING MAID SERVICE (every weekday except holidays) and on-site caretaker are complimentary at Tir Na N’og. A private chef can be arranged.

A VAST REEF just 300 meters offshore ensures idyllic kayaking and snorkeling conditions for anyone staying at Tir Na N'og. We have plenty of snorkeling gear. Also two kayaks and a stand up paddle board.

We have beach recliners and water loungers for those of us who prefer to spend the day taking in the sun. We also have a baby monitor, pack and play crib, and beach toys. We have recently installed super-fast Starlink internet and satellite TV.

THE FAMOUS BEACH RESTAURANT AND BAR Tippy’s is just a 10-minute walk down the beach, and the new Potlatch Club's restaurant and bar only a 5-minute walk. The town of Governors Harbour, just 2 miles away, has restaurants, grocery and liquor stores, ATMs, gift shops, and Friday Night Fish Fry!

Rates are for up to 8 guests. Additional guests are $525 per week.

Beautiful nearly private beach
Nice Bahamian cottages & main house scattered about-Gorgeous beach-Loved the tennis/pickle ball Property is showing its age & needs some freshening up. We encountered some problems immediately & the property manager was M.I.A. There was no gas in the grill. We had bought large amounts of food to grill and didn’t have a functioning grill…took 2 days trying to contact anyone connected with this property to get a gas tank delivered. The property manager totally never responded the entire week. We finally found a gas company to fill the tank & we took the tank to the filling station. We paid the $50 to fill the tank. Then only to discover that the gas line on the grill was broken. Finally a plumber arrived on Day3 to repair a toilet that was broken & not usable…he repaired the grill to properly function. So a lot of time & headaches on our end to get these items repaired. Missing cabinet drawer on bookcase. Very thin bath towels. House needs a 5 gallon bottled water station, as water there is undrinkable. We had an immense amount of plastic water bottles & gallon jugs used daily. What a waste. Television in main house did not have any tv channels as listed. The day we left, the tv tech arrived to remedy that. All shower heads need a serious cleaning as mineral buildup is restricting water flow. Soak those heads In vinegar. Christine, the daily housekeeper, did a nice job of cleaning and we appreciated her help to try and remedy problems throughout the week.

Loved our stay at Tir Na Nog!
We loved our stay at Tir Na Nog! This was our first time on Eleuthera, and the property served as a great home base for exploring the island. The main house was super comfortable and the bedrooms worked well for our group with young kids. Despite being windy for much of the trip, the beach was beautiful (and private), and the pool and tennis court were great whenever we wanted a break from the beach. We had a wonderful time and would recommend this property!

Exceptional stay
This is a lovely property on the beach in an excellent location in Banks Road. Highlights include infinity pool with comfortable lounge furniture, private accommodations with comfortable beds and outdoor furniture plus a brand-new tennis/pickle ball court. Daily maid service was amazing! Kitchen was well-equipped for cooking in, but if you like to go out, the house is also super close to our island favorites:Tippy’s, Buccaneer Club and 1648 at The French Leave. I highly recommend this property!

Beautiful house and location
Our entire family loved our stay, the beach was SO private and we snorkeled right off of it to the reef, we enjoyed the kayaks and all of the amenities, I can not say enough about how wonderful the people of Eleuthera were. We had some great food on the island and two wonderful meals prepared for us by Claudine. Everything was perfect, we would return in a heartbeat. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious for the 8 of us, and the Great Hall was perfect for gathering.

Tir Na Nog Family Vacation
Our family has been traveling to Eleuthera and many other Bahamian Islands for the past 15 years and staying in many different homes both with family and with my husband and I separately. Tir Na Nog is one of the premier homes on Eleuthera that has beautiful Old World Caribbean details, is impeccably maintained and has an exquisite 10 acre property to walk around and enjoy. The main driveway is about a quarter mile long with lovely plantings bordering each side and extending all the way down to the pathway that leads to your gorgeous, private white sandy beach. There is a Tiki Hut overlooking the ocean with lounge chairs where you can relax and entertain your guests as you marvel at the natural beauty of the property. The tennis court is newly re-surfaced and is the most pristine court we've ever played on in Eleuthera. The infinity edge pool is delightful and perfect for lounging around. We enjoyed the separate cottages for our family and friend which gives everyone a quiet escape from the the Main house if anyone wishes to read or take a nap. Each cottage and bedroom has gorgeous dark wood floors, lovely beds and armoires with a/c in each room as well as attractive, updated bathrooms . The kitchen is updated and very functional which looks out on an outside dining area. There are pocket doors to separate the kitchen from the dining and family room area if you are having dinners prepared for you and your guests. Tir Na Nog is simply an exquisite place to stay in Eleuthera providing a private, lush, compound-like layout for multiple couples to enjoy and have their own separate space to relax and rejuvenate. We enjoyed our stay tremendously.

Amazing property.
The property is perfect for a group of couples. Each room is large , has its own large bathroom and private entrance. The property is large but not overwhelming. Great layout and very well maintained . The on-site staff is excellent. They helped us find things we needed and set up excursions for us. They daily laundry service is great. Honestly I could go on and on but I’ll just say that after booking property’s roughly every six months for the past eight years I can honestly say that this was our favorite property. It’s great for couples , family’s , large groups of friends and business groups. Just great.

Great Location
This is a very nice property. The multiple buildings allow for privacy and a resort feel. The property has everything you need with tennis and water sports. What makes this property very special is Daniel the property manager. Daniel is the fifth star to this property, anything that we needed, he was there to help and also, he is very knowledgeable of the island and what it has to offer as a guest. We would return to this property.

Great for multiple families. House was private and beach was beautiful. There is a covered deck on beach with lounge chairs that was perfect. Eleuthera has limited availability to food to prepare and is extremely expensive. There are only two restaurants close by. Tippys, which you can walk to, and Buccaneers which is a quick car ride. Both have good food. Tips is more expensive. There were 11 of us and we were spending approximately $800 per dinner. We did have some drinkers! Rooms are comfortable but dark . Water pressure is not great. When all are showering, water barely runs. Daniel was great and very responsive.

Perfect property and perfect location
This was our second trip to Tir Na Nog in the past couple of years. We loved it as much the second time as we did the first time. We always rent in this location - we think it is the best on the island. The property checks all of the boxes for us. We love the privacy and spacious layout. Everything you need is on site and grocery stores and restaurants are close by, with Tippy’s in walking distance. The beach is practically empty of other people and everything you need to enjoy your day at the beach is provided - umbrellas, kayaks, lounge chairs, snorkel gear and more. Please be aware that WIFI is spotty but this is the case everywhere on the island. It’s a small price to pay for the most beautiful beaches in the world. We look forward to returning to Eleuthera and Tir Na Nog again soon.

Special home and property!
We traveled with four couples to spend 10 days at Tir Na Nog and we had an amazing time! The property is beautiful and well maintained. Everyone has plenty of room to spread out. The main house is a separate structure which really works well since some people were early risers and others stayed up late and no-one was ever bothered. The housekeeper, Christine, is lovely and comes every day for 4 hours except Sunday -- having her there was such a treat and she was always very helpful. The property manager, Ann, was very responsive and when we mentioned we needed some extra beach chairs and an umbrella, they were delivered by Daniel 30 minutes later! We do believe that four couples is the maximum -- the twin bedroom is not good for a couple. Our only disappointment was that the beach is 300 yards from the main house and the only view of the ocean is from the Upper cottage. However, there are plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, 2 kayaks, etc. so we spent every day at the beach! The beach is absolutely beautiful and deserted -- we rarely saw anyone else. Also, it is a great walking beach. You can walk a mile and a half each way on the beach from the house. Governor's Harbour has great restaurants, the people are very friendly and the grocery stores are pretty well stocked (just bring lots of cash -- the 2 main Governor's Harbor grocery stores and gas station do not take credit cards). We will definitely return!

Fantastic location, beautiful home
This is our second time staying at Tir Na Nog, and it never disappoints. Our party of 10 enjoyed every moment of our stay, whether cooking together in the main house, playing tennis or swimming in the new pool, or exploring miles of secluded beach - and the snorkeling is always outstanding. Anne and Christine and all of the local staff are incredibly helpful and responsive. One of our favorites places to stay on Eleuthera.

Our second visit to this property. Always a pleasure working with Matt Simon, and we find the property great for seclusion. We are active cooks so the setup is perfect. Also recommend Al Curry with Ocean Fox for diving, fishing, day on the water.

Wow! We were so happy with our trip. What an amazing experience.
We had never been to the Bahamas and went off a recommendation to try one of the quieter islands. We cannot wait to go back. The home and property was just unreal. So quiet. So private. So beautiful. We had so much fun at the beach. In one week we maybe saw 5 people! We had a day trip to Harbour Island and loved it. We had a tour with Fishbone Tours that we all really enjoyed! I would say it is a must do. We truly enjoyed the quiet times at the beach. Relaxing. We had a chef come to the home a few nights and that was well worth it! The local restaurants were all fantastic and we were sad when our trip was over...hope to make it back to the island again. The locals were all so friendly and helpful and we feel so blessed to have the opportunity to be there.
