"Very well appointed, comfortable and clean house in Uithoorn, easily accommodating a family of five. The area is family friendly with a play park opposite the house. The tram station is less than a 10 minute walk away which will take you into Amsterdam South. The supermarkets are a 5 minute walk away. The host generously provides bikes which we took on a 28km bike ride to Amsterdam Bos and back. Cora the host was very responsive and friendly. We can highly recommend this property. "

"The place was great and clean. The stairs to the bedrooms were very steep. Location was great, amenities were great. The one annoyance was the night time critter bites. Looked high and low for anything but the itchy bites were undenyable. Very itchy "

"From the booking process throughout our stay Kim was wonderful and very quick to respond to any questions. The home was beautiful, clean, quiet, and spacious. The only small complaint we had about our stay, and this had nothing to do with the home, is that all but two restaurants in town require reservations. Made it slightly difficult to find a meal after returning from our daily activities at unscheduled times. Again, not on the host, more a comment about the area in general!"

"Beautiful area if you enjoy biking and exploring the countryside. The accommodations have everything you need to be self sufficient and are a central location for day trips into major cities such as Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, or the Hague, however a car rental is likely a necessity."

We arrived after traveling all day tired and didn’t realize we would need to do this as well. "We had a really relaxing time here. The cottage is small but that suited us, and the view across the fields filled with all kind of wildlife was superb (not forgetting the chickens next to us and the three walking ducks!). And the huge windmill next to the canal is something to behold. Hans, the host, was really welcoming and helpful and if you want to lean more about the windmill then Google 'Vrouwgeest windmill' and learn how it has been in his family since 1797.
