Wonderful hotel with the most friendly and helpful staff. They were certainly the highlight and reason for returning. Only downside was not having a bedside table and socket/usb-c plus to charge phone. Made it very uncomfortable and inconvenient. Had a great stay at Clarion Hotel - The Pier. Clean spacious room for 3 adults. We had a beautiful view of the downtown. Excellent buffet breakfast. Good restaurants within walking distance near hotel and easy access to downtown via bus or ferry (free at certain times). Gym was well equipped and sauna was great (robe and slippers provided). Customer service was excellent. Kajsa and Karen at front desk were exceptional - very helpful and welcoming. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is located across the water from the City center - there’s a FREE ferry that crosses non-stop from outside the hotel. The property is kept immaculate and has everything you could need for a pleasant stay. Aleksandra helped us with information regarding a landmark we were trying to locate - she was friendly, knowledgeable and very kind. The breakfast buffet is well balanced with plenty of choices. They have a roof top bar with great views of the harbor and the city. An absolute no brainer if you’re looking for a great place to spend a few days in Gothenburg.

Amazing view of downtown Gothenburg from our 7th floor immaculately kept room. Very new hotel in an up and coming neighborhood so there was a bit of construction nearby although we barely noticed it. Breakfast and staff were wonderful. Freddie was especially kind and helpful. Incredibly comfortable bed and we even had a full size soaker tub in our bathroom, making it feel even more luxurious. New fluffy towels and bathrobe. Hotel is across the waterway so it's quite a bit further from downtown than most other hotels. We took a ferry or water taxi to reach downtown which made it more of an adventure getting around. Would definitely stay at this lovely hotel again our next time in Gothenburg!

Schöner Blick auf die Stadt mit guter Anbindung ÖPNV via Fähre an den Wochentagen, ansonsten mit dem Bus. Sehr guter Komfort des Hotels mit prima Frühstück. Eine gute Wahl. Restaurants in der Umgebung sind überschaubar.
