"This is a truly impressive house. The short title of the listing is absolutely correct; it is a stunning location. You are practically in your own forest with a Loch just a minute's walk. There are lots of walks around the house, and it is completely peaceful. There is an abundance of wildlife in the garden, including pheasants, Red Squirrels and hundreds of birds. "We really enjoyed the City Centre Cottage. It was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for the six of us. Kitchen was fully stocked and we cooked several meals there. "This property was an absolute dream. Fantastic views of Loch Ness, walking distance to Urquhart Castle, spacious, quiet, peaceful and clean. It was a bit difficult to find for the first time in the dark as it gets quite dark in Scotland, but that was more due to my unfamiliarity with the area than the instructions that were given. "The house was lovely and cosy and we had wide information about what we could do in the area thanks to Carol’s information. We truly enjoyed our stay and we had beautiful memories relaxing and seeing the beauty of the pond and views. The place is a 20 minutes from Inverness and 30 minutes aprox to Lochness. We had time to go to Fall Divach, Fairy Glen in Rosemarkie and watching dolphins in Chanonry Point. Beauly was very close to buy groceries and had nice dinner. "
