"This hotel was clean and the breakfast was excellent and it was extremely convenient. We were able to walk to a variety of restaurants and the Marks & Spencer. There was a mini fridge in the room and the room was immaculate. We took the hop on hop off bus tour which was also convenient. We would highly recommend this hotel, and we would stay there again."

"We recently spent 6 nights at Highland Apartments by Mansley and loved everything about staying here. The apartment was very clean and spacious, the kitchen was well stocked, the bed was on the firm side but comfortable, and the washer/dryer was much needed for a 3 week trip to Scotland. There was a great fan in the bedroom which kept it very comfortable, along with being able to open the bedroom window and balcony door. There is noise at night from the restaurant/pub below (which is no fault of the hotel), but between being so tired at the end of the day and the hum of the bedroom fan as background noise, it did not bother us as much. There is no front desk on property, but communication was great regarding check in, and there is always someone available in the chat function within the app. We did not find the parking garage as difficult to find as others have, and although it’s small with tight corners, this is not much different than any other parking garage we have used during past trips in the UK/Europe. The location is perfect to walk anywhere, as well as a Tesco being a very short walk across the bridge. We loved Inverness, and if we are fortunate enough to return, we would not stay anywhere else but Highland Apartments by Mansley. "

"Great location within walking distance to everything within Inverness. Great views of River Ness and the Castle. Room was cute and spacious but the bed was not comfy at all. Not sure if this was just our room but anytime would flush the toilet or take a shower the plumbing would sound like a barge was coming through - this would go on for the entire shower. It is an older hotel so assumed is just old plumbing but that was super annoying. Additionally someone's dog must of pooped on the entry floor and it was tracked all through and up the steps and they didn't clean it up until the next morning and it smelled awful. No parking but car park within few minutes walk and only 5 pounds a day. "

"Just returned from a week in Scotland and used the Loch Ness Drumnadrochit Hotel as a base whilst backpacking the Affric Kintail Way over 4 days. Fantastic service provided all round by Donald and his team. From allowing me to park my car there for 4 days while completing my multi day walk to providing plenty of useful information about the area and things to do. On finishing my walk, I'd planned to stopover one night and return home.I decided last minute to stay for 2 nights to rest up and Donald booked me into a lovely room which was just what I needed after 4 days in a backpacking tent. He and his staff couldn't do enough to make me feel welcome and the food in the restaurant was excellent too. Would definitely recommend this place if you're looking at staying in and around Loch Ness."

"I understand that all the rooms are different and the owners tell you that up front. Having said that, we spent 3 weeks in Scotland and this was the best room we stayed in. Very roomy bedroom and bathroom and everything worked. What else can you ask for? Easy walking distance to the heart of the city was a big plus."

"Convenient location next to the train station. Room was tidy. Double bed is awfully small for two people, but we made do. Really our only complaint is that the room was hot and hard to get comfortable."
