"The beds were not the most comfortable. Too hard, but also with annoying polyvinyl under the sheets. Maybe we were expecting a more well-kept beach in this 5-star resort. Comparing the beach with the neighboring, much smaller 4-star resort Sunnyside Apartments shows some of the weaknesses of the Falkensteiner resort beaches."

"Location was fantastic but be prepared to walk up lots of stairs. Old city centre totally walkable but this always means parking is a few blocks away. Breakfast included plus discount if you eat any other meals there. Suite itself good, but unfortunately smelly bathroom drains that may be due simply to an old building that the host may have no control over. Keep the door closed so the sleeping area doesn’t pick up the smell. Overall good but if you’re picky go elsewhere. Host was great."

"Not the best place to stay in Zadar. Plug sockets are an electrical hazard, not very clean... pool is not for children Service and staff were fine Location is far to walk to old town. About 35mins to sunset view. Would have maybe been abit better if the children were older. But it was too far for us to walk, not clean and not ideal "

"It is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed. To begin with, the apartment has only one air condition for three rooms which was unacceptable considering the fact that it was 38 degrees. There were no towels and they brought us finally a few towels which were dirty (no more comments). Also, the room stinks. "We were warmly welcomed to this well kept spacious home. The house has everything you need and is perfectly situated to tour the coast and visit Croatia's stunning mountain national parks. The village has direct access to the motorway network and yet is quiet and peaceful. The house itself remains cool all day thanks to its high ceiling design and we were even able to keep our hire car in the garage shading it from the sun. Perfect! The Viduka family are lovely."
