Very charming old house restored with taste and authenticity, it has 2 flowered parish gardens surrounding an old-style pool type pool with resting beaches and swimming against the current, an independent bedroom on the ground floor (not air-conditioned) because very cool in summer) with its bathroom. Another upstairs bedroom, air conditioned, with its library lounge as an extra bedroom and its bathroom, shower and bath. The canopy will receive your meals around a large round table and the living room will charm you with its careful decoration and paintings by French and foreign artists. The house has all the equipment necessary for a successful stay. Ideal for 2 single people, 2 couples or 1 couple and 2 children.

A perfect stay
Simply put, we hated to leave. On our arrival, Bénédicte was helpful, welcoming and informative. As frequent VRBO renters, we could tell that she had anticipated everything needed to make her guests' stays a great success. Beyond that, the house is charming, very comfortable, and fully functional. We felt at home right away. The setting is spectacular, and the locale full of interesting things to see and do.

Absolutely charming
We had a wonderful stay! The house is absolutely charming and perfectly located. Our host left us several hiking and restaurant recommendations that were all fantastic. The region is stunning and not overrun with tourists, even though we stayed in peek tourist season at the end of July. We loved it and cannot recommend it higher! Thank you for a wonderful stay

Beautiful house and décor in a great location.
Lovely house and décor, very clean, lovely pool and in a great location. There were pre-existing issues with the plumbing and sanitary ware which were resolved very quickly, but there still remains an issue with a very temperamental toilet flush that needs to be permanently addressed. Some other small niggles would be that the kitchen is very small but workable, but there is no oven as stated on the property details, only a combination microwave/oven. The gas hob has two burners which are only large enough for two small pans which is restrictive. More than one set of keys would be useful, to allow the external annexe guests to gain entry into the house. The annexe bedroom is charming but there is only a curtain separating it from the en-suite bathroom. A door would be better. A change of bed linen is provided which we changed midway through our stay. We washed towels as there were no spares. When we have been to other HomeAway properties a cleaner normally comes in after one week to clean and change linen and towels. We were surprised that this was not the case here. Some detailed instructions of kitchen equipment, the pool, air-con etc would be handy, plus good directions of how to locate the property.

Wir durften im Juli diesen Jahres 2 wunderschöne Wochen zu viert in Benedicts Haus verbringen. Das Haus, der Hof mit Pool sind traumhaft schön, alles mit sehr viel Liebe, Charme und Authentizität eingerichtet und gestaltet. Einziger Negativpunkt, wenn man überhaupt davon reden kann, ist der Elektroherd mit zwei Kochplatten, aber wenn man nicht gerade ein 5-Gang-Menü kochen möchte, ansonsten völlig ausreichend. Das Haus selbst liegt in einem kleinen Weiler unterhalb von Gordes und ist idealer Ausgangspunkt, um die Provence zu entdecken. Insgesamt waren wir rundum begeistert und werden mit Sicherheit zurückkehren.

Great location to explore the Luberin
We had a wonderful holiday, the house is beautiful with fabulous decor and very relaxing. The weather was great and the pool was very welcome to cool off. The bed was super comfy and all essentials were provided. Benedicte was very thoughtful host.

sehr schönes Haus mit viel Ambiente
Es war sehr ruhig und vor allem sehr sauber in dem schönen Haus, das ganz toll eingerichtet ist. Auch wenn das Wetter mal nicht so toll ist, kann man in dem kleinen Wintergarten sehr gut verweilen.

Charmantes Haus in schöner Lage
Das Haus hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es ist ein sehr charmantes, gemütliches Häuschen mit einem hübschen kleinen Außenbereich, in dem man Sonne und Pool genießen kann. Bénédicte ist eine sehr nette Gastgeberin, die uns herzlich empfangen und uns wertvolle Tipps bezüglich der Gegend und Sehenswürdigkeiten gegeben hat. Einzig die Küche ist für mehr als zwei Personen mit lediglich zwei Kochplatten etwas spärlich ausgestattet.

Lieu paisible et agréable
Avec mon mari nous avons cherché une maison qui pourrait nous convenir avec un bébé de 2 mois. Cette maison a été idéale pour son emplacement et également sa superficie. Si jamais bébé était fatigué nous pouvions profiter de nos vacances en restant dans ce logement situé dans un hameau très calme avec une piscine si on veut se baigner. Bénédicte était très disponible durant tout le sejour et nous a super bien accueilli ainsi que conseillé. Nous avons passé un agréable 1er séjour en famille dans le Lubéron, merci beaucoup ! N'hésitez pas, le logement ne vous décevra pas (bien au contraire)

Belle demeure de charme
A proximité de Gordes et de Joucas, le lieu est idéal pour profiter des nombreux et magnifiques villages alentours. La maison est à l'image de sa propriétaire, raffinée et très sympa. La piscine est un vrai plus et le jardin très agréable. A recommander sans hésitation !

Beautiful, charming house well situated in the heart of Luberon
We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful house. The house is an old stone house (typical for the area) that has been beautiful restored. The house was very clean and comfortable. Nice bedrooms and big, nice bathrooms. The kitchen is small (not a lot of space for preparing) but well equipped. To relax by the pool in the afternoon after being out visiting the area was ideal. The host, Mme Delaplace, is very friendly and gave us good recommendations for restaurants, markets, villages to visits. Lovely owner and beautiful home!
We had a wonderful time in Provence. We are so grateful to Benedicte for sharing her special home with us. She has restored and decorated it beautifully. The house was very clean, comfortable and quiet. There is a big, comfy bed in the main bedroom. It was great to have a bath and shower. The pool was a welcome respite with the heat we had. We did utilize the AC at night. The location of the house is ideal for visits throughout the Vaucluse, Bouches-du-Rhone and even the Drome Provencale. All of the Luberon villages are close by. The only thing that might be difficult for some is the stairs. We had a perfect stay, merci beaucoup Benedicte!
