Farm Stay Guidelines
- We’re a working farm with friendly animals who love human company.
- For the safety of animals, feeding them is prohibited. Feeding them can lead to food aggression (peacocks chasing children, horses nipping).
- Specifically, please avoid feeding the peacocks. They can become too accustomed to human food, causing them to enter camps, get attacked by dogs, and create messes. It's best to let them remain semi-wild.
Snake Safety Guidelines
- We ask guests to follow these safety guidelines to prevent snake bites
- Avoid walking through tall grass or grasslands as snakes are abundant in the area
- We recommend wearing long loose pants and close-toed shoes such as boots and sneakers when roaming around the property
Guest Advisory
- Due to the Black Summer bushfires in December 2019, the property was affected, and there may still be some stray bits of wire or burnt posts we've missed. We're actively rebuilding and re-fencing, so if you spot anything, please let us know.
Important note:
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present in the surrounding areas
- Please note that while there is no mobile reception in the area, most phones support WiFi calling and there is fast, reliable internet available for those who need to work during their retreat by the river.
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the [compost/cassette] toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
Interaction with Guests:
Guests will enjoy your own private space but we are always happy to chat with you.
