"I attended the HF Radio Club gathering at the Goomeri Showground in Qld. Most of our members have their own motorhomes, caravans, etc. but I recently sold mine so opted to stay at the Goomeri Motel. The new manager Malcolm was friendly and helpful, the rooms are self-contained and a couple of barbecues are available for patrons' use. The previous managers allowed the place to become very run-down so this problem is being addressed. Please note that there is NO bar or restaurant at the motel but...
