"I was looking for a retreat, in nature and close to good hiking, and this was perfect. There is a long, lovely walk on the property down to Talladega Creek, and it's also just a few minutes from the Pinhoti. The cabin itself was comfortable and cozy warm, even when temps fell to the teens. Maggie was conscientiously helpful and gracious."

"My husband and I took my 85-year old mother to this lake cabin for a family Christmas gathering with my two sisters, a brother-in-law and a niece. There was plenty of room for each family to have their own bedroom and bathroom. Two of our daughters and five grandchildren joined us for the day on Saturday to have Christmas with us. There was plenty of room in the Living area and kitchen/dining room for us all. The kitchen was well stocked and roomy, which made preparing food for 14 very easy....

"It's a beautiful, secluded place that has everything we were looking for in a vacation spot. Even though it rained most of the weekend, it didn't dampen our stay. The privacy and ease of access to the fishing and swimming area gave us peace of mind and we were able to relax and have a good time. As an added bonus, we went looking around and found some amazing historical sites that we had no idea was there. Everyone had a wonderful weekend and we all want to come back to this cabin again!"

"I loved this cabin. It is very obvious this lovely cabin is well loved and is someone’s personal getaway. Not another poorly maintained rental property. Prettily and thoughtfully appointed and decorated, comfy and cozy. I can’t say enough good things about it. Oh! And the view of the river is breathtaking! I would stay again, for sure! "
