I had booked three nights for myself and family at the hotel to attend the Reno Air races. On Friday night when we arrived, we found out that our booking had "accidentally" been cancelled due to an employee error. It took about one hour for them to find us a room, but they said that we had to change to a different room the next day. Huge inconvenience for us and my wife had to stay behind to deal with this and missed a day at the races. We were moved from a fairly decent room where we stayed the first night, to a very poor room on the southside with very noisy traffic outside. Door was not working properly, furniture drawers did not open and looked like they were from the 1960s, faucet had come loose and the room had an old small "box" TV - not a flat screen. Hotel "erronously" put 6 different temporary charges on my card adding up to more than $ 1,000, which maxed out one of my credit cards as to its limit. Manager was not reachable and none of the front counter personnel could fix this or were authorized to do this. Very frustrating experience to say the least. I paid $ 90 per night in a hotel that provided service that could be expected at a $ 30.00 per night motel. Run, don't walk away from this place! I stay at hotels for about 20-25 nights per year and I do not ever recall this lack of care or service from any previous place I have stayed at.
