"You have to recognize - this is not a 5 star hotel. For what it is, it is a well maintained, well run place to stay for a reasonable price. Everything worked, and was neat and tidy. The bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well organized. I didn't partake of the free breakfast so can't speak to that. The only thing that wasn't good was the TV. It was not high def so the picture was of pretty low quality. I did like the location, which was right off highway 97, and there was a nice view out of the back window of my unit. "

"For a cheap motel in a small town, this was about as good as it gets. Clean carpet, comfortable bed with clean sheets and good pillows, lots of clean towels. The bathroom sink and countertop were brand new (unexpected)....the toilet and bathtub were old but entirely adequate. The window curtains were ripped and the AC unit looked like it was on its last legs but worked well. Quiet overnight, big breakfast offered (though standard continental stuff, and not all of it fresh). Overall, slept great and was very satisfied for $80. "

"The house in the pines was a fantasic stay. I would sit and look out those windows for hours. We had amazing sunrise and sunsets this trip! The beds were comfy and loved the layout of the house. We had a few things come up and Jacob was responsive. Though one couldnt be fixed during our stay, it was easy to make contact with him. This house will be on our radar next time we come visit. "

"Renter beware!!! This home is surrounded by what I can only describe as Meth houses.. The host was impossible to reach and gave us inaccurate instructions to obtain the keys to the home. There is zero cell reception, so we were at the mercy of someone checking on us to make sure we arrived. After waiting quite some time the host showed up and gave us a generic code to obtain the house keys. As we unloaded our luggage, the host follows us in the home with her three dogs who ran through the house jumping on everything and everyone. The host stops me to tell me that her nephew recently robbed her and that the window in the kitchen was still broken, she hadn’t had time to have the window fixed before we arrived. The host was unable to secure the window shut until my husband was able to force the window closed. I called VRBO immediately as we did not feel safe staying in the house and they offered me $100 for my inconvenience. We were forced to stay overnight as there were no other close accommodations and at that point it was too late at night to drive anywhere else. That night someone attempted to break in the home, but was unsuccessful because my husband placed chairs against the doors. In the morning someone had pooped near the front door (clearly human)… We left that day."
