"From the first welcome to checkout you are made to feel welcome. Yes, the rooms may be basic but are more than adequate as a base to allow exploration of the area. Comfy beds and no noise from adjoining rooms and parking outside your room. The restaurant facilities are fantastic from dining in to room service. Although extremely busy, food is prepared quickly and is excellent. Staff work so hard to please guests. A very comfy stay !"

"We stayed at the Rydges for the weekend, and found it to be a great hotel, with modern facilities and large rooms. The bed was very comfortable and the room quiet and dark. Perfect for that sleep in. About the only downside is the location. It is a bit of a drive from the centre of town and doesn’t have any restaurants or pubs near by. It is a $15 taxi ride from the heart of Kalgoorlie to the Rydges, so not too bad. The staff were very friendly and efficient, although the reception was unmanned...
