The Space

Fabulous 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom 770sft townhouse condo with private hot tub and all the upgrades you need for a luxurious stay in the mountains in the heart of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort near Golden, British Columbia.

This townhouse is part of the Aspens at Kicking Horse, which won Best Resort Development in BC from the Canadian Home Builders Association- British Columbia. It features heated floors in the bathroom and kitchen, queen size beds in each bedroom and queen size sofa pull out bed in the living room with comfortable linens, electric fireplace, and satellite TV. The home is well appointed with modern fixtures, a full kitchen including all stainless steel appliances with dishwasher, 4 piece bathroom, in unit laundry, and huge deck with BBQ and private hot tub.

Who wouldn't want to relax after a hard day on the slopes in your very own private hot with incredible views of the ski mountains and Columbia valley below?!

To keep your car cozy in winter, you have access to a heated parking space and locked private storage room for all your ski gear, mountain bikes or white water kayaks!

Guest Access

You will have exclusive access of the entire home, including a 400sqft deck and your own private hot tub, and indoor parking for 1 car below (additional outdoor parking is available for additional vehicles).

Interaction with Guests

We will be available by phone or email to help throughout your stay, but you'll have the peace and quiet of your own home away from home without interruption.

The Neighbourhood

Kicking Horse is the best-kept secret of the Canadian Rockies!!
In winter you will have access to critically acclaimed skiing/snow boarding as the resort with the 4th highest vertical drop in all of North America and amazing terrain. You can also enjoy heli-skiing, dogsledding, and access to endless kilometres Nordic ski trails.
In summer check out world famous parasailing and mountain biking, or pop down to Golden for some thrilling white water rafting in the Kicking Horse River.

Golf lovers will enjoy the Golden Golf Club, flanked on the east by the Rocky Mountains and on the west by the Purcell Mountains, in an incredible natural setting beside the quiet Columbia River, the rushing waters of Holt Creek and the many wild animal sightings.

In the summer and winter alike, jump on the comfortable gondola ride to the top for a day of skiing, bike riding, sight seeing, hiking and finish off with an unforgettable meal at Eagle's Eye Restaurant the highest restaurant in Canada!

Kicking Horse is also home to the Kicking Horse Grizzly Bear Refuge, the largest enclosed and protected grizzly bear habitat in the world, home of our resident grizzly bear, Boo.

There are shops, bars, restaurants, and cafes a short walk away in Kicking Horse Village, open during the summer and winter seasons.
The town of Golden is short 10km drive down the mountain, with access to larger grocery stores, additional shops restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and the Whitetooth Brewing Company!

Spectacular views from our accommodation and we were lucky to have clear skies and Northern Lights to add to the view. Very clean and comfortable. Hot tub a big plus. Only suggestion I have is a couple of mixing bowls or serving bowls would be useful. Highly recommend!

We spent two weeks at this property . It offered everything we needed along with breathtaking views. A short drive to so many wonderful natural settings in and around Golden. A wonderful stay! We will be back.

Golden is a such a cute town, nice location for hiking at Lake Louise and checking out Banff. Felt nice to come back and go in the hot tub after a long day hiking. Was disappointed with the comfort of the beds, we booked VRBO, instead of camping to sleep well after long days out hiking, and beds weren’t comfy. Besides comfort of beds, it was a nice place, could use a couple updates but would stay again if beds were updated.

A great base to explore the Grandeur of the Mountains
Arrived at the property slightly early, and received a message right at check-in time that we wouldn't be able to get in yet as the cleaner wasnt done, and we would need to wait an extra hour. That was the only problem we encountered on our 1week stay. And the owners were apologetic and offered to refund the cleaning fee. Otherwise, we would absolutely stay here again. Minimal crowds, a beautiful drive down to the town of Golden. Great views and quiet. This property did not disappoint.

We had a very enjoyable stay in this condo. It was very clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils, and the living area was perfect for relaxing after a long day. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The location was fantastic – close to several restaurants, and local attractions. We especially enjoyed hiking in the Yoho National Park. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. Check-in instructions were clear and straightforward, and communication with the owner was perfect making our stay stress-free. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again.

Great appartment stay for family of 4 adults travelling from Jasper to Vancouver. The accommadation was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hot tub made our stay perfect. Kicking Horse resort was closed which was unfortunate- but that’s nothing to do with the appartment. We found enough to do in Golden for the day we were there, and we were lucky with the weather too. Thank you Amanda for your quick response to questions beforehand, will certainly recommend to any Brits we know heading this way.

When we booked our stay in Golden, hubby didn't realize he had booked us right on the ski hill so that was a treat! Make sure you bring in your groceries as the drive to town is 15 minutes. We loved our little home away from home and especially loved having the hot tub all to ourselves at any time of the day! What a bonus! The owners were easy to deal with! We'd definitely stay there again!
