"My visit to GHC started after arriving at 9:15pm on a Thursday night. Arriving at the property we were met by a lovely and friendly security guard (previous police officer at Black Bush, I cannot remember his name) who escorted us to reception. Following a quick and effective check-in process we went to dinner at the onsite restaurant this is where we met Charelene, a friendly high-spirited and wonderful and knowledgeable waitress. We encounter an issue with one of the dishes which was quickly resolved by Charlene along with her supervisor Troy who provided alternatives and ensured the situation was resolved with the customer in mind. We stayed at the property for 7 nights and we would often see Troy in the morning, he would always smile and wave and ask if there is anything he can do to make our stay ever better. Overall the property is very clean and well kept, the cleaners do an incredible job and my room was spotless everytime. The reception team are friendly and responsive and very welcoming. The food is very delicious especially the guyanese offerings at breakfast (bake and saltfish, roti and baigan choka etc). The Sunday brunch was very delicious, serving wonderful guyanese cuisine and desserts. The property does have a pool right at the front which I did not use. There is enough space within the property grounds to relax outside of your room and the property feels well secured. The property is also well connected to Georgetown and getting to town took me under 20mi"

"Very great service. As a business traveller this fits my needs. Very central location to get around Georgetown easily with transport. Great lobby for meetings. Didn't eat much there, but when I did the food was great! Was skeptical about the WiFi at first, I need fast speeds to stream live meetings, but it came through really well. Front desk was really pleasant, engaging and helpful... and the conditions of the property stood out from what I was accustomed to. Actually all the staff were hospitable. I travel a lot throughout the Caribbean and when I'm in Guyana will definitely use them again."

"Excellent customer service, all the staff whom we encountered were very friendly helpful and of good cheer. A beautiful hotel and residences equipped with the standards to get by whilst on your trip in Guyana, Georgetown. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay at this lovely and healthy environment. The cafe bistro does amazing food dishes and has a great bar to enjoy luscious alcoholic beverages. Loved the coconut prawns, fried rice and steak dishes. Great variety to choose from and everything is affordable. Overall 9/10 for a hotel excellent service and excellent house keeping helping to keep the environment clean and friendly for all guests. Well done folks! Keep up the good works!"
