"I had never been to Golden Beach before and I totally loved it. It was peaceful and the hotel was perfectly located across from the beach. The hotel room was excellent with superb views, nice swimming pool and good carparking. I would definitely stay here again if I wanted to visit the area. "

"The room was clean and everything worked it looks like resort has had a paint job since our last visit. After staying at another resort recently it was refreshing to not be charged for pool towels and mini golf and golden hour cocktails with live music around the pool really creates a great atmosphere. I have two suggestions if the TV in the room was smart we could have logged into Netflix for quiet times. The local pub has kids meals for $3 cheaper than the resort and it comes with a drink...

"Upon arrival, the cottage was presented as per the photos. The beds are super comfy, the cottage was very clean with lots of books and games to keep you entertained. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing that was a bit annoying is the property is located on a main street and the front bedroom can be a bit noisy. This may not be an issue if you are staying during the weekend, however, during the week the traffic noise can be disruptive to sleep. Recommend earplugs if you're a light sleeper."

"Our stay was average. We enjoyed the less crowded/noisy atmosphere. The apartment was peaceful too. Great location. Communication needs to be more clear on the fact that it’s privately owned and where the keys need to be collected so guests know they need to go into town to collect keys instead of heading straight to the resort. On a serious note: The apartment was reeking with mould as the air conditioners had lots of mould inside of it. Owner needs to get on top of this. "

"Bedding was dirty/stained, plates had chips/cracks, no dishwashing detergent/tablets, no guide for operating TV/internet/Foxtel/appliances etc. Broken/damaged light switch which a child could stick a finger into, presenting a safety risk. Apparently a "welcome pack" containing detergents etc, is provided to guests on arrival by the agent, but the agent did not mention this to us. As we arrived on the weekend, when we rang on a weekday to ask about cleaning products, the agent was dismissive and...
