Beautifully and newly built with your comfort and vacation experience in mind, this home is the perfect spot to settle in for your next escape to Gold Beach. This Oregon Coast retreat features a polished kitchen with a large island, sleek contemporary design, and brand new stainless steel appliances, as well as a comfortable dining and living room where guests can enjoy time together. Outside, you'll love relaxing on a spacious deck that overlooks the waters of Riley Creek. The front porch swing is something enjoyed by kids and parents along with seniors–the perfect place to unwind!

A reputable architect designed the duplex to take maximum advantage of the surrounding geography in a manner that would create a serene and private setting for its occupants. The area is quiet, the sounds of nature abundant, and the gurgling creek soothing (which when flowing at its usual pace can be heard when inside either dwelling), and visits from deer, bugling elk, wild turkeys, and the occasional owl or bear are daily reminders of one’s connection with nature. The placement of the carport between the two parts of the duplex, as well as the layout and position of each home in relation to the other, was designed to maximize the exposure of each to nature and to maintain privacy between the dwellings.

Memorial Day Weekend Adventure
We loved the location! Spent time traveling South one day to Brookings and the next North to Bandon. Gold Beach being our quiet, comfortable and relaxing home base. What a beautiful bungalow! We loved our time at Riley Creek😃

Perfect bungalow
This was a perfect little place to stay in Gold Beach. Two bedrooms, one communal bath, nice kitchen and living room. Very comfortable and a nice view.

Decent
As an example for the whole house, If there were more than 3 coffee cups in the house, I'd think you all actually cared what the guests think and I'd give it a 5. But clearly this house is missing many basic amenities from lack of care. It takes very little money to replace this stuff imo. Owners need to not just depend on the company and do a walkthrough of their homes every so often and hk needs to be making sure things are getting replaced and cleaned properly. This house has so much more potential than the effort it's given

Clean properly in quiet area. A little hard to find if you arrive at night time but overall a good place to stay. The house is open, clean, lots of windows, fully equipped with cooking tools. Beds are comfortable and warm which is great. Already looking at staying again!

Stay at Riley Bungalo
Home is very nicely decorated and very comfortable. There is a deck on the side that is great for unwinding in the evening. Property was extremely clean and Vaca staff were very responsive. Things I did not like: A sign at the front entrance indicating I should remove my shoes, a very large sign in kitchen that tells me check out time is 10 am, etc. Put these requirements in the book in the living room. The counter tops in kitchen and bathroom were very pretty but not practical for tenants. If you like unfinished wood, you should have it in your own home but not for your rental property. Finally, the bathroom tub is a very poor choice for retired couple with bad back, hip replacements and knee replacements. The tub was very high and hard to get in and out of. We would not rent this property again.,

Great little spot
Very clean tasteful bungalow. Fairly well equipped kitchen (needs a few more mugs only had 3 - and glasses). Comfortable beds. Bathroom is ok, has poor to no drainage of sink and tub. Difficult to use. Shower works but because of plastic liner you feel like your in a giant baggie and the controls are outside of the liner so it's a bit screwy. Location is great, private, and close to many beautiful sights. For the price you can't complain. It is very clean and tastefully decorated. I would give it five stars of the bathroom drains worked and the shower was reengineered! There is a Keurig but only k cups. A French press but no kettle. Great toaster oven, regular gas stove that worked well, pots and pans, and dishware. Nice tiny deck area which was great to sit on after a day at the beach or a day hiking. We hope to return again. This was our second stay here.

House was well situated, private, comfortable and aesthetically layed out. Super clean with well appropriated kitchen. Great yard in back and lovely neighbors who brought over eggs. Best dog friendly and reasonably priced accommodations I’ve stayed in.

Lovely home that needs a few major fixes
Lovely home in a quaint neighborhood that was a great introduction to the Oregon coast. Very clean and well maintained! We would HIGHLY recommend getting all wood countertops and especially bathroom sink sealed. Visitors are made to feel very stressed to have to keep counters dry. More ants were popping up all over the house by the end of our stay - that should be taken care of asap. Thank you!

Sweet Spot
Great little place to stay. Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, and great location close to beaches and hiking on Boardman Corridor. We loved Barnacle Bistro for dine in or take away! Grocery close by and a quiet neighborhood. Only downside (not a deal breaker for us) was lack of a proper shower. There was a lovely tub with a handheld shower head. Also bathroom sink has drainage issues which we reported so hopefully that will be remedied soon. We will be back!

Nice location, quite. Beds were comfortable. No laundry detergent. No shower had to use hand held shower. If you have any mobility issues you do not want to stay here bath tub is difficult to get in and out of. Door lock did not function properly. Would not lick and took several tries to unlock.

It was ok
I loved that it was at the coast, and I could have my dog. Short drive to town and beach. Other than that, can't think of anything I loved. Inside if you just scan quickly it looks clean. Wood counter tops with no finish, is ridiculous to ask to wipe water away. And mold growing on bathroom sink. Bed was to hard for us. But we are wimps when it comes to beds. Some ants have started to check things out, should get that taken care of. It truly is a nice place inside.. outside has been forgotten about. And other attached home or rental is needs cleaned up.

Gold Beach Oregon Stay
It was a very comfortable stay. We had a nice time. I agree with previous reports of the funky shower and counter tops. Still am not sure how to keep the counter tops dry as they requested. We did make our trip in the rainy season which I well knew we were doing. We are from Humboldt and get a lot of rain here too. Anyway, there was a pile of woodchips which should have been spread out over the driveway which was not done. We had a bit of slushy mud moving from the car to house. There was a note in the house requesting to please take off your shoes when entering. Well, that became a bit difficult loading and unloading the car in the mud and rain. Maybe if they spread the woodchips, they would not get so much mud in the house. Other than that, our stay was amazing, and I would definitely stay there again. It was nice, clean, and cozy. The price was excellent, and our needs were definitely met. Very close to town, restaurants, grocery, and the beautiful Oregon coast.

Bait and Switch
This property looks cute in the photo, but what isn't shown is the house connected to it, the 2 giant ugly trailers (one with dogs stored in it) and the fact that it is not close to anything. The home has a bath tub only, one too small for anyone over 5' 8" and very narrow, with a grab bar that is above your head and unreachable. The property is littered with dog feces. There are also no curtains in the home at all, so you are completely exposed when it is dark outside, and there are homes close, and the trailers. It does showcase beautiful wood, and there are signs to be careful not to damage it in any way, but there was not a single hook to hang a towel, a coat, etc. Kitchen was well stocked. I will say the management company was very helpful, and they were able to move us to another property after one night. I would not have stayed in this home even if we had not been moved.

Cute! But that's about it...
Cute house that does sleep 4 total. However, this house really only accommodates 2 adults. The seating in the living room is not designed for comfort and we ended up spending the majority of our TV and game time on big blankets on the floor. The shower is not "fixed." It is hanging by a clothes hanger in the shower so do not expect to adjust the angle. There is not a yard to speak of so very little time was spent outside at this property. It is smack dab between 2 houses and the secluded views in the pictures and descriptions provided are not quite accurate. The good: the kitchen is stocked with pans and most all you need, the open layout and massive windows were beautiful, it's fairly updated/newer construction, washer and dryer work well. We had construction taking place on this property we were not aware of and I must say, the vacasa team was great working us to fix this issue. It's adorable, it's cute, but the butcher block counter tops that you can't get wet (kitchen and bath), lack of comfort, and no seclusion did not meet our standards. All that to say, the vacasa team on the ground was amazing!
