Find Tranquility Where the Rogue River Meets the Sea
Ideal setting for those who want the convenience of a small town, quick access to a beach, and still be remote enough to experience the beauty of nature at its finest. This house stands out from others because of its location, not just its panoramic views... but also less fog, more sun, and less wind than surrounding areas due to its unique geography. Property is no longer available for partial rental.

The house had amazing views. The location was great, quick trip to beach and freeway. My only negatives would be the hot tub jets were not all working or not very strong and there was no closet in the king room.
Also if you have kids who watch TV there is only one and it’s located in the king room.
These are just little things things though. I would go back again. Thank you

I loved this property for so many things. Spacious and bright and incredible kitchen facilities. Nice hot tub and bedrooms. Really nice. Wonderful views! The manager was quick to respond when I called. The downsides are the stairs and stairs. So many one of the party had to limit her trips to and from the house. There was a non-working elevator leading from the garage to the upstairs. Also no working TV in the main room (it was said that it was being fixed) but one that worked upstairs. So all in all if you are in good shape with young knees you will love this place. If you aren't you won't, I loved it myself.

Good and bad
The location of the property is great and the river and ocean views spectacular!. However, there are some issues with the house. First, there was no access to the garage so parking was outside and entry to the house was by outside stairs. On a couple of "bad weather" days it would have been nice to park inside and enter the house from inside. Second, the kitchen has some nice appliances but the coffee maker had a problem keeping the coffee warm after brewing. Third, there were no washcloths for bathing and only one set of towels for the week. Lastly, no TV. None of us are big TV watchers, but it would have been nice to have a TV (or radio) to check on news or watch a movie. I also feel the description of the property should mention "no TV".

Great view…a lot of stairs and no tv…
Place sits in a great spot…however the deck is rotting in spots and falling apart in others and a bit wobbly…so you want to stay inside. Was with a group wanting to watch the game…what No tv? Had to go buy a Wi-Fi smart tv for trip…the one in the master didn’t work…if you want to just sit quietly inside, read, & watch the bay this is good house for that.
The property was in a great location we were on a fishing trip and could walk to the doc to meet our fishing guid. We like to cook the house was well stocked with cooking utensils. We used the hot tub it was relaxing after a long day of fishing. Overall great property.
We rented this Gold Beach house for five days in July. It is located on the north side of the Rogue River with a beautiful view of the Gold Beach harbor and the Rogue River outlet to the Pacific Ocean. The living room has a two story window which provides a marvelous view of bird life and the fishing activity on the Rogue River. The master bedroom has almost as good a view on the second floor. We frequently watched osprey riding the air currents near the house and on several occasions saw eagles fishing in the Rogue. There were two swallow nest in eves of the house and many swallows nearby. The swallows kept the level of mosquitoes and insects low. Thus, we were able to keep the doors open for ventilation even though there were no screens on the doors.
There are a number of problems with this house. It is one and a half flights of stairs to get to the main level. Thus, it is hard work carrying coolers or grocery bags into the kitchen. It is also difficult to carry luggage into the house. Fortunately, we had some young people in our party who did most of the carrying. The main stairway is an old wood stairway and you have to be careful of splinters. The wood walkway on the other side of the house is also made of old wood planks. Many were loose and several were broken. You had to be careful walking on this walkway. It was very dangerous for the old folks.
The outside grill was excellent and we used it several times after some cleaning. The house did not have a well stocked kitchen. There were not enough pots and covers to cook pasta for 6 people. There was not enough flat ware for 8 people, several times we had to hand wash spoons for meals.
.
Some of the toilets were slow and the house had no plunger. One toilet leaked for the first day of our visit but then stopped. The toilet seal needs to be replaced at some point.
I stayed here with my sister for a girls weekend. The house is beautiful and we loved waking up to the amazing views. We didn’t want to leave! The house is in a great neighborhood (a lot of peace and quiet), and we were a short drive from the town center. Will will be coming back to stay here!
This is our second stay at this home. It is a great place for a larger group. There is a large enough kitchen and dining area for everyone to eat together and play cards. The hot tub is a great addition and it is close to stores and the beach.
Process was Easy check in was a breeze. Beautiful views of the Rouge River from the north side looking out at Gold Beach. Weathered much needed rain fall & crazy winds (cyclonebomb)2021. Family enjoyed the spacious living areas. I think there needs to be more cookware there's not sufficient cooking pots and pans. Over all we all really enjoyed being away and having a comfortable place to meet.
We had a wonderful time at Raven’s Haven. The property was well-maintained and very clean with lots of amenities. We cooked several meals and the kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, cooking utensils and pots and pans. The views from the living room and master bedroom are beautiful. It’s a great place to reconnect with family and enjoy all that the River and ocean have to offer.
My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and we loved the house. It was rather large for just the two of us but we booked last minute. The house has many unique design details, tons of windows allowing for lots of light and a great view of the Rogue River. We especially enjoyed making a fire in the the wood stoves, the beautiful walk in shower and jacuzzi tub. We would definitely return.
Property had a beautiful view. Jet tub didn't work and the window in the living room leaked when it rained. Over all was clean except windows could of been cleaner so you could really see the beauty.
The house is fully equipped and well furnished. The views are wonderful and the master bedroom is amazing. We never went into the garage but noticed the staircase elevator.
We had a great time at this house! The location shields the house from the battering winds of the ocean and the view of the Rogue River was magnificent! There are all sorts of things to do nearby. We went tide pooling, hiking and on a boat ride during our time. Gold Beach the town isn't too exciting but if you're here for the nature, this house is a great place to stay. The hot tub was our favorite part! The outdoor furniture could use some updating, since it would have been nice to have some meals outside. The deck needs a table and some sturdier chairs. There is just one TV upstairs in the master bedroom, so no TV for the whole family. Place was as described and highly recommended!
Was such a cute quiet house close enough to everything perfect if you want to escape the busy life!! Only recommendation is to get gates for the two staircases when traveling with little ones you worry about that for safety!
