Quick little anniversary getaway
Although the weather was unusually cold and wet for mid-June the rest of the stay was lovely. Quiet, private, clean, and cozy. Nice location with great views. Easy access to great hikes and some good food and drink options too. We'd come back and recommend to others.

If you're thinking about booking just do it! It was everything we needed. Great space with the views of the mountains and sound of the stream. The photos don't show it but you even get two low size peaks out the living room windows.

Amazing experience
We loved everything about this property. The listing was accurate but didn’t do the beauty of this space justice. It was breath taking and absolutely stunning. We will be back.

Awesome river getaway
We loved this home. It’s an awesome location with a scenic property view with easy access to the river. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and it had a lovely cozy home feel. They thoughtfully stocked the bathroom with extras like shampoo & conditioner. It was quiet and felt private. I couldn’t get over the beautiful windows and views.

Cozy cabin near hiking trail.
House had a beautiful view and was close to several hiking option. Overall the house was comfortable. The kitchen floor and throw rugs were dirty. Mgmt sent someone right over to take care of the floor. Dining room table and side tables were also dirty. Those I could take care of. I’m getting frustrated with all of the additional fees we pay through VRBO for cleaning and “service” and the house is not thoroughly cleaned. I think we paid an additional $800 in “fees” for this rental. Kitchen is sparsely furnished, grill is broken so don’t plan on grilling anything. Thai restaurant in town is great. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Charming house perfect for a weekend getaway!
My wife and I treated my mom to a birthday weekend getaway at Prospector’s Bend. The house itself was lovely. The interior decoration was well thought out, with large windows offering scenic views of the river and mountains. The hot tub was incredible, and we had so much fun looking up at the stars. There are a few reasons keeping this from a perfect 5-star review. First, the kitchen could have been better stocked. Second, the guest bed mattress was pretty cheap and uncomfortable (opposite of the king bed in the master, which was wonderful). Third, there was some deferred maintenance – broken or missing cabinets in the kitchen, loose patio step etc. There were signs that management was aware of these items and working on fixing, though it would be quicker to actually repair the items vs printing out a sign. This last piece didn’t affect my review but should be mentioned. On Saturday, we heard guns being fired in the distance over a several hour window. Having spent a few years of my early life in a more rural area, this wasn’t unusual to me, and I could tell the shooter wasn’t that close to the property. Around 11PM as I’m taking the dog out to go to the bathroom before bed, a team of 8 or so cops approach me, flashlights and guns drawn, accusing me of being the shooter. After getting frisked and explaining that we are on vacation, the cops shared that the neighbors called in reporting it was us. I notified management the next day, who seemed indifferent over dramatic event, and was more concerned that I saw neighbor’s walk their dog off-lease and relieve themselves on the property (which we picked up). Definitely started to get the vibe that the locals weren’t too happy that the house at the end of the street is a rental.

We enjoyed the rustic theme of the house. We enjoyed being able to have walking access to the river
All in all it was very relaxing place to stay for a quiet get away. It would be nice if they update some of the kitchen utensils like add more serving spoons, serving forks, silverwares, plates, bigger frying pans, update the silver ware organizers, add more hand towels. We love to eat & cook and it was a bit challenging to cook with bare minimum utensils & pls add ziplock bags too. It’s those little convenience that makes a big difference. Love the place, big window with a magnificent view, hot tub & the river.

River front relaxation
Very much enjoyed our stay. The house is at the end of a cul de sac so it feels very private. Nice view (and sound) of the river but know that there is no direct access to the river from the property. Main bed was super comfortable and the house was well appointed with the exception of the kitchen. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook basic meals but make sure to bring plastic wrap, napkins, extra paper towel and any food storage items you may use such as baggies. There is a super good Mexican restaurant in town called Maggie's. Highly recommend having a meal there!

Solid property
Beautiful property with direct access to the river. Tastefully decorated and appointed with better than average tech (TV setup), available boardgames (a massive Scrabble board!) and kitchen appliances and supplies. Bedsheets could be replaced (were definitely on the "worn" side) and the surrounding neighborhood felt a little questionable, but other than that, a solid property for being so close to beautiful nature.
