Location was on the top of a hill with views of the valley and the Gilboa hills. Beautiful short hiking trails right near the room. Room was very clean and inviting. "Open Sky has a fabulous view of Nimrod's Castle/Fortress and beautiful sunsets across the Golan Heights Mount Hermon. Property is new, clean, and good A/C Heat. Shower and Kitchen are great. Restaurants in area are great as we had fabulous food! Beds are much harder than we prefer but that appears more typical in Israel. Would stay again. Regards, Rex"

" AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This is not a hotel, this is a 1-star hostel at hotel prices. Two critical points: 1.) The hotel had a full on cockroach infestation. Our room was crawling in cockroaches (pictures included) 2.) Given the cockroaches, we asked for a refund on 1/3 nights. The host confirmed he would refund, but never did…. "We stayed at “Dovdevan” cabin for 2 nights (family of 4). The sleeping area for the kids was good with a comfortable mattress and a TV. We had a nice Jacuzzi (we didn’t use the sauna). However, the bathroom was uncomfortable with no stall , so all the bathroom area was full of water after each use. The area around the cabin/room is very lovely with plenty of trees ,shade and a playground. You can use the kibbutz’s pool in the summer. "
