"We really enjoyed our stay. Morning breakfast buffet was terrific. Plentiful and interesting. Nice beer garden to have lunch. Serve a great local beer. Staff was very friendly and accommodating to our very limited German. Limited # of parking spaces, but some nearby if you stay out late and none are left when you return."

"We enjoyed our one night stay here. We had a friendly welcome when we arrived, and we really liked the authentic Alpine chalet feel of the hotel. The beds were very comfortable and the room spacious with a balcony. Breakfast was lovely and we could park for free outside. All good! "

"Super friendly & helpful staff at reception. Helped us find a dining venue & organised free tourist tickets for the fortress. We parked directly under the hotel with easy hotel access. Breakfast was a generous spread of the usual European options. The view of the fortress at night from the balcony of the spa area was spectacular. Room was basic, but sufficient."

"We are very glad with the choice we've made. It was an excellent retreat! The overall facility was in great shape and easy to get around. The breakfast was fabulous! We loved the spa, especially in the evening after our arrival when we struggled with a 6-hour jetlag as well as the next day after skiing at Kitzbuhel. Our room was next to the elevator and we were concerned about noise. However, the sound insulation was so good that it felt like nobody else was in the hotel. We will definitely consider it again when visiting the area. "
