"My family and I enjoyed a lovely 5 day stay visiting the sites of Sitka. The Hughes house was a highlight … mornings watching the ocean out the kitchen window and eagles flying by was special. Close to a grocery store and downtown nearby made for easy visiting of the Sitka activities. Wonderful memories of our stay at Hughes home!"

"The home itself was fine. But what made this stay so special was the spectacular location! It's about a 10-minute drive from Sitka, which makes getting in and out of town very easy. But what's REALLY great is that the home is next to the water, and the view of Sitka Sound from the windows and backyard is amazing. I spent long stretches of time just relaxing in a chair by the water, watching the fish jumping, the boats going by, the clouds rolling in and out, the islands, the mountains, etc. The...

"We had a fabulous time in Sitka. We fished for 2 days and explored for 1 day, however another day would have been nice. The vacation rental was perfect for our party. Each person had their own bed, the kitchen had everything one might need. The location was perfect. The boat picked us up right outside our door and it was a walkable distance to the center of town.
