"My family and I enjoyed a lovely 5 day stay visiting the sites of Sitka. The Hughes house was a highlight … mornings watching the ocean out the kitchen window and eagles flying by was special. "This was our third stay in this property (obviously, we like it). The property is very quiet... little outside noise, well-insulated, very nicely kept, and solidly built. The owners are next door, and easily contactable, and very respectful of your privacy. Sitka is a small town, and most everything is within easy walking distance. Groceries are further than an easy walk, especially carrying groceries, but cabs are inexpensive... not an issue. The kitchen is large and well equipped, ...

"This rental was by far perfect for my softball team, the host was great and she made sure we were well take care of. This weekend we had no internet or cell service when we got to Sitka but she found a way to get me to the rental and help us get squared away would recommend this rental for everyone that’s looking for some peace and quiet while enjoying the each other’s company"
