Night-time and early morning temperatures were low due to the altitude, but it soon warmed up and by lunchtime it was quite hot. Le Chambon-sur-Lignon is quite small, but it has all the shops you might need during your stay (bakers, supermarkets, ice-cream parlours, pharmacy, etc.). "We returned to this Gite this year. We never do this and that shows how much we enjoy this property. It is perfect for families, the Gite itself and the gardens are beautiful. The pool is great and the boule and table tennis were enjoyed by everyone."

"The property is listed as a cottage when in fact it's an apartment, with another apartment below. It is also listed as having Games Room, Gym and Sauna, these are in fact within the hosts property about 40m away. On using the Sauna I was informed there would be a 10 Euro charge, no mention of this either at check in or on the listing. The Sauna was then locked for rest of our stay. There is also no mention of the hosts property being within the "Parklike Gardens" and that rooms are let out to...
